message. Pastor Rick & Donna will be on vacation from January 13 –
OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of January is designated
for WORDS OF HOPE. This offering will be received on Jan. 30.
NURSERY VOLUNTEER NEEDED on WEDNESDAY, Jan. 19
from 6:45 – 8:00 pm. See Heather if you are able to fill in.
NEW NURSERY SCHEDULES are being prepared. If you would be
willing to help out in the nursery, even just a couple times, please
sign up in the narthex. If you are already a nursery volunteer, there
is no need to sign up…you will automatically be scheduled. Thanks!
EASTER IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER! That means that our
2nd Children’s Easter Event on April 23 will be here before you know
it! Many volunteers are needed. Sign up in the narthex or see
TOILET PAPER DRIVE - Toilet Paper is once again needed at
FNOW (Family Network of Wyoming)! In last year’s Toilet Paper
Drive, we collected over 1,200 rolls but that amount lasted only till
August! SOOOOOO we are once again having a toilet paper
collection and maybe we can top that amount this year!!! Please
watch for sales and bring in toilet paper (as much as you are able)
through the end of February! Then families in need can receive more
than one roll each! Thanks in advance!
CAN YOU SPARE A LITTLE TIME TO HELP AT “SECOND
CHANCE CLOTHING”, a store of used clothing that is run by
Trinity Reformed Church?? They are looking for volunteers who are
willing to do customer service during normal store hours. This
includes running the cash register, sorting clothes, and pricing
clothes. Grace is attempting to get a few volunteers for Tuesday,
January 25 (10AM-2PM), Wednesday, January 26 (10AM-2PM), and
Thursday, January 27(10AM-5PM…possibly more than one shift).
On the table in the narthex are copies of their newsletter which
explains this ministry in detail. Also, there is a sign up sheet where
you can pick your own hours!
Note the reason for the new name of their store – “We believe that
Jesus Christ is the embodied gift of second chances to this wider
world. Because of this Savior, all of us have access to the Lord’s
deeper bounties of reconciliation, restoration and hope”.
