TODAY WE WELCOME Rev. George Grevenstuk to our pulpit.  We

 also welcome the members of Connections who will be leading our

 Praise Team today.  We thank you for being with us this Lord’s day!


DISCOVERY KIDZ will be taking a short break this summer.  Class

 will resume on July 24 with a special summer theme!  Children’s

 bulletins are available at the sound board or narthex table.


OUR MUSIC MINISTRY is presented by Ruth Tacoma and her

 daughter, Janet Dekkinga.  Thank you for your contributions to our

 worship service today!


A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.


6:00 PM JOINT EVENING WORSHIP – We will be meeting at

 FAITH Reformed Church (618 32nd St SW, Wyoming)

 tonight for worship!





NEXT SUNDAY we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper.  Pastor Rick will

 begin the next section of messages in the series “You Better Believe

 It”.  See the insert in your bulletin today for all the information.  For  

 our evening service we will meet at Faith Reformed Church.





PRAISE TEAM – will practice TOMORROW, July 11, 7:00 pm. 


SUMMER CAMP - A few of our kids at Grace will be heading to Cran

 Hill Ranch July 11th-16th. We would love to show that they are being

 prayed for and thought of during this week away. Would you consider

 sending them a quick note during their stay? Here is the list of those

 that will be attending this upcoming week: Addison Boeve, Lilly Dood

 and Riley Dood.  Mail your notes to:  (Name of Camper), Cran Hill

 Ranch, 14444 17 Mile Rd., Rodney, MI 49342.  Thank you!

 Our SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of July is designated for

 Cran Hill Ranch.  It will be received on July 31st.


PASTOR RICK AND DONNA will be on vacation through July 13.  If

 a need arises, please call your Caring Shepherd, Elder Representative

 or call the office and we will contact them for you. 


BACKPACK DRIVE – We will be combining with Beverly Reformed

 Church for the 2016 Operation Backpack!  Backpacks will be

 distributed to those who visit the food truck at Beverly on August 11. 

 Start shopping now for sales on backpacks and supplies. Please have

 your donations to Grace by July 27th.

Prayers & Praise Line

Congregational Prayers and Praise


  • We thank God today for the beauty of nature.  For warm summer days and times of rest and relaxation.
  • We lift up Pastor Rick and Donna as they take some time for vacation.  We pray for relaxation and refreshment.  We thank and praise God for their ministry here at Grace.
  • We remember in our prayers our Discovery Kidz as they go through the summer months.  We pray for fun times, discovery, and a closer relationship to Jesus.  We pray for Ms. Heather as she prepares for their summer session and fall events.
  • We pray for Pastor George and Connections and for the youth and adults that attend each week. We pray for Connections as they reach out to the neighborhood through summer block parties. 
  • Please keep McLain Grimm in your prayers as she heals after falling from a trampoline.
  • Please continue to keep Sandy Workman in your prayers.  We pray for continued healing and a complete return to health and strength. 
  • We pray today for Bob Tofferi.  We thank and praise God for successful surgery and that he is back at his home recovering.
  • We lift up Keith Baker in prayer today.  We pray that their trip will go well and Keith will remain healthy.
  • Remember Ethan, 11 year old grandson of Ed & Kathy De Ruiter, in your prayers.  He was hospitalized this past week for an emergency shunt replacement surgery. 
  • Continue to lift up Josh Sawyer in prayer as he is at the Great Lakes Naval Station for A School. 
  • Please continue to be in prayer for Shirley De Bruin as she undergoes chemotherapy.
  • We pray for Sally Herrema as she continues therapy on her leg.
  • We continue to keep Tymie Boeve in our prayers.  We pray for understanding, encouragement, continued healing and strength. 
  • Continue to remember Karen Ver Hulst in your prayers.
  • We ask for prayers for Wes Dekker’s sister, Janet as she has had a setback due to recent surgery. 
  • Please keep Brent Kerkstra, son of Paul, in your prayers.  Prayers for a complete return to health and wellness.
  • Please continue to be in prayer for Lola De Young and her parents Matt & Lindsey. 
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs. Tena DeVink, Mrs. Betty Figueroa, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mrs. Ruth Ver Merris, Mr. Jim Friar.



As other prayers are shared, you are invited to write them down and include them in your prayers for our congregation this week.Please keep the churchinformed of your prayer needs and praises.
