Prayers & Praise Line

July 12, 2015

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank God for the many years of ministry of Judith Estell in Taiwan.  We pray for the people and the work that continues there today.
  • Please be in prayer for Lola De Young and her parents Matt & Lindsey (nee Foster).  Lola’s has relapsed once again. Because this is her second relapse she will most likely require a bone marrow transplant as part of her treatment. Lola has a rare genetic marker which makes it almost impossible to find a bone marrow donor. They know at this time there is not a donor available. Please be in prayer for their family.  Harbor Life Church in Grandville is hosting a bone marrow drive on July 20, from 4-8 pm.  Call the office at Grace 538-3100 if you would like more information.  You can also check out her Facebook page:
  • Remember those who have lost loved ones in your prayers.  Today we remember Louise Grimm and her daughter, Denise; Deb Pierce and Doug Grimm and their families.  We pray that God wrap his arms of love around you and give you peace.
  • We thank and Praise God for Christian Camps like Cran Hill Ranch and Camp Geneva and the counselors that spend the summer with the kids.  We are thankful that 8 of our Grace kids have had the opportunity to spend a week at Cran Hill Ranch.
  • Continue to keep Heather Dood in your prayers as she begins the process of becoming a Commissioned Pastor.
  • We pray today for Pastor George and his work at Connections.  We pray for the upcoming Block parties and the many activities and groups at the Crossing.
  • Thank you for remembering Wes Dekker’s sister, Janet, in your prayers. Please pray that they will be able to restrain any cancer left in her system.
  • Please remember Marie Mc Donald, friend of Esther Hoag, who has cancer.
  • We pray today for Jeff and Chelsea Lampen as they prepare to serve in Romania.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs. Tena DeVink, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mr. Mac Mc Alary, Mrs. Ruth Ver Merris.

As other prayers are shared, you are invited to write them down and include them in your prayers for our congregation this week. Please keep the church informed of your prayer needs and praise reports.
