TODAY AT GRACE

 

TODAY WE CELEBRATE THE SACRAMENT OF THE LORD’S

 SUPPER. We invite all those who are members of Christ’s Church

 and have found forgiveness of sins in Him, to participate in the

 supper. A brief Communion Service will be held in the

 Chapel following the service for anyone who was not able

 to be present during the worship service.  If you are aware of

 someone who is not here today, but would like to receive this

 sacrament, please contact the church office.

 

9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET. All children ages 3

 years – 5th Grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 

 

OUR MINISTRY OF MUSIC is presented by Tinna VanWyk and

 Sandy Farris of our congregation. Thank you for taking part in our

 service this morning and sharing your talents with us!

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George and Connections.

 

PRAYERS & PRAISE

HEALTH CONCERNS – Joan Patterson is doing much better and

 was expected to be transferred to the Laurels of Hudsonville. 

 Please continue to keep Joan, as well as Brian & Sandy, in your

 prayers. Ken Wylie underwent surgery Thursday to repair a rotator

 cuff. Keep Ken in your prayers as he begins healing and rehab. For

 all prayer requests and praise reports, see the Prayers & Praise Line

 in your bulletin.

MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of July is designated for

 TALKING BIBLES INTERNATIONAL. Their mission is to serve

 the Lord Jesus Christ by producing audio recordings of translated

 Scriptures in hundreds of languages and making these recordings

 accessible in the form of Talking Bibles for millions of people around

 the world who cannot read. Bibles are now available with solar

 power! This offering will be received on July 28.

 

CAMP SPONSORSHIPS - Would you be interested in sponsoring a

 child going to camp this summer? Cost for one week of camp range

 from $365 - $445. You may donate any amount you wish. Designate

 your contribution on your offering envelope or you may use a pew

 envelope.

 

MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

CHOIR PICNIC – Saturday, August 10. Come any time after 1:00 pm.

 Bring a dish to pass. Supper is at 5:00 pm. Main course, table

 service, and beverage will be provided! Sign up on the narthex table!

 

PICNIC POPS – The Fellowship Team is sponsoring an outing to the

 Grand Rapids Symphony Picnic Pops featuring “Gotta Dance”. The

 orchestra will perform more than 20 of the greatest dance tunes ever

 written! Mark Thursday, July 25 on your calendar and join us for

 tailgating and a fun night. Reservations are necessary, so sign up on

 the narthex table if you are interested. Cost $15.00 pp or $13.00 for

 Seniors 62+. Questions? See Wes Dekker or Tymie Boeve.

 

COOKIE DONATIONS – If you have not signed up to bring cookies

 for our Sunday coffee time, but would like to donate, there is a sheet

 on the narthex table to sign. You will be called with a date. Thank

 you to all those who have already baked cookies! If you have any

 questions, please see Tymie Boeve. REMINDER…our church is

 Peanut Free!

Congregational Prayers and Praise

 

  • We thank and praise God for His beautiful and majestic creation. 
  • Please pray for continued healing for Joan Patterson.
  • Continue to keep Ken Wylie in your prayers following surgery.
  • Please be in prayer for Lola De Young and Matt & Lindsey. Lola, who just celebrated being in remission, has relapsed. The good news is that the cancer is not in her bone marrow. She will begin another round of treatment. For the next year Lola will spend 1 week per month inpatient receiving chemo treatments. Please continue to pray for Matt & Lindsey as they move forward.
  • We thank and praise you God for your healing powers, for your comfort and assurance of your love for us.
  • Continue to keep Amie Pierce in your prayers as she is stationed at Fort Riley in Kansas.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mr. Ralph Bolt, Mrs Tena DeVink, Mrs. Jane Duthler, Mrs Miriam Schrotenboer, Mrs Ruth Ver Merris.
