ELDERS INVITATION If you have questions, concerns, joys, or

sanctuary this morning and they are also listed on the back of your

bulletin.  You may also make a notation on the Fellowship Register.

We joyously welcome you to Grace Reformed Church!

Whatever led you to our church today, we believe God rejoices in having

you in this place.  Please take a moment and sign your name and

address on the Fellowship Register as it is passed today.

SUPPER.  We invite all those who are members of Christ’s Church

and have found forgiveness of sins in Him, to participate in the

supper.  A brief Communion Service will be held in the

Chapel following the service for anyone who was not able

to be present during the worship service.  If you are aware of

someone who is not here today, but would like to receive this

sacrament, please contact the church office.

It’s ZOO DAYS at DISCOVERY KIDZ!  The kids will begin their

summer session today!  This week:  It’s the Monkeys.  Monkeys are

one of the most popular animals at the zoo, because they are so

curious.  They're always exploring climbing, trying new things.  We as

Christians should have the same passion to study God's Word and try

new things He has called us to do.  When we do that, we too can

expect people to gather to see what makes our life so exciting.

Memory Verse this week:  “You will seek me and find me

when you seek me with all your heart.”  Jeremiah 29:13

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.

SUNDAYS AT 6:00 - We will not be meeting for the evening service

for the remainder of July and the month of August, but will worship

together at Faith Reformed Church, 618  32nd Street at 6:00pm.

We will have a joint service on September 6 with Unity Reformed,

and then our schedule will resume with evening services at Grace on

 September 13.

HEALTH CONCERNS – Please be in prayer for Karen Ver Hulst who

was hospitalized this week.  Pray for a return of strength and comfort

during this time.  For all Prayer Requests and Praise Reports, see the

 Prayer insert in your bulletin.

OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHIES are extended once again to Louise

Grimm and family on the loss of her brother who lived in Florida.

Also, Louise was hospitalized earlier this week with an infection and

dehydration.  Please keep her in your prayers as she goes through

 these difficult losses.

Prayers & Praise Line

July 19, 2015

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank and praise God today that we can celebrate communion together as one today.
  • “What a Friend we have in Jesus”.  Praise God for this special friendship, and thank Him too for Christian friends in your life.
  • Please be in prayer for Lola De Young and her parents Matt & Lindsey (nee Foster).  Lola’s has relapsed once again. Because this is her second relapse she will most likely require a bone marrow transplant as part of her treatment. Lola has a rare genetic marker which makes it almost impossible to find a bone marrow donor. They know at this time there is not a donor available. Please be in prayer for their family.  You can check out her Facebook page:
  • Remember those who have lost loved ones in your prayers.  Today we remember Louise Grimm and family.
  • Please be in prayer for Karen Ver Hulst as she regains her strength following hospitalization this past week.
  • We thank and Praise God for Christian Camps like Cran Hill Ranch and Camp Geneva and the counselors that spend the summer with the kids.  We are thankful that 8 of our Grace kids have had the opportunity to spend a week at Cran Hill Ranch.
  • Continue to keep Heather Dood in your prayers as she begins the process of becoming a Commissioned Pastor.
  • We pray today for Pastor George and his work at Connections.  We pray for the upcoming Block parties and the many activities and groups at the Crossing.
  • Thank you for remembering Wes Dekker’s sister, Janet, in your prayers. Please pray that they will be able to restrain any cancer left in her system.
  • Please remember Marie Mc Donald, friend of Esther Hoag, who has cancer.
  • We pray today for Jeff and Chelsea Lampen as they prepare to serve in Romania.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs. Tena DeVink, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mr. Mac Mc Alary, Mrs. Ruth Ver Merris.

As other prayers are shared, you are invited to write them down and include them in your prayers for our congregation this week. Please keep the church informed of your prayer needs and praise reports.
