PRAYERS & PRAISE
 
OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHIES are expressed to the following Grace
 families:
 Ellsworth & Jeanette Johnson upon the death of Ellsworth’s
 sister, Maxine Klunder, on Thursday, July 13 at the age of 81.  A
 Memorial Service will be held today at 4:00 pm at Orchard Hill
 Reformed Church with Rev. Thurman Rynbrandt officiating.
 
 Khuon & Hon Tran and family upon the death of Khuon’s
 mother, To Thi My Nhu Danh, who passed away in California on
 June 16 at the age of 88. 
 
IN APPRECIATION – I would like to thank my church family for the
 many prayers and cards received in the past few weeks.  The good
 news was that I did not have a heart attack.  I now need to meet
 with my pulmonary doctor regarding my breathing problem.

FIESTA REUNION – This past Wednesday we held the 1st of 2 FIESTA
 REUNIONS!  We had a great group of 45 children and many
 helpers attend!  We had a wonderful time experiencing Fiesta
 again!  The next Fiesta Reunion is scheduled for Wed., August 16th
 Thank you from Darrell & Shari to all those volunteers who made it
 such a success. A special thank you to Kia, Keonna, & Keysha for all
 their help decorating!!!

THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of July is designated for the Bible
 League.  Please see the insert in your bulletin for more information.  
 This special offering will be received next Sunday. 
 
MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS
 
MEN!  There is still time to reserve your spot for the PROMISE KEEPERS
 CONVENTION September 15 & 16 at the Van Andel Arena.  All men,
 ages 15 and up are encouraged to attend!  This event will “pump you
 up” and help you focus on the things in life that are worth your time
 to focus on!  Cost $69.00 for the first 11 signed up, $89.00
 thereafter!  See Ray Zondervan if you have any questions.
 
THE DOOD/ZONDERVAN Bible Study Group will meet Sunday, August 6th
 right after the morning worship service.
 
CONSISTORY MEMBERS – Next meeting is scheduled for August 14th
 Elders will meet at 6:30 pm – Consistory at 7:30 pm. 
 
NEEDED THIS FALL…Teachers & Leaders for fall Youth Programs. 
 Sunday School, Wednesday Nights, Middle School Youth Group,
 Children & Worship, Cadets…lots for you to choose from!  Sign up on
 the sheet in the narthex and indicate what group you would be
 interested in helping with!
 
ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH!!!  We have decided to reschedule the
 Cedar Point Trip due to many conflicts!  We will be doing something
 in place of it.  See Darrell for all the details.

· The Fiesta Reunion and the children who came
· All those who volunteered to help with the decorating, preparing, and
 leading the Fiesta Reunion
· Successful emergency surgery following a ruptured appendix for Sarah
 Zimmerman (Roelofs) who is expecting a baby ~ She was able to return to
 her home Thursday
· The arrival of Nikki Probst ~ Nikki will begin her work at Grace tomorrow!
