Prayers & Praise Line

July 27, 2014

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank and Praise God for Christian Camps and Counselors!  In particular we pray for Cran Hill Ranch and Camp Geneva.
  • We thank God today for Daniel Jung and his family.  We pray that they will feel God’s presence in their lives daily.  We are thankful for the time he was able to spend here at Grace and the influence he had on our Club 3:16 students.
  • We pray for Rowin & Rachel Mulder as they wrap up the RealLife Camp.  We pray that the time the young Chinese students spent here in Michigan was a great experience. We pray for safety as the students return home this week.
  • Remember Phyllis Vander Sloot in your prayers as she begins rehab following shoulder replacement surgery.
  • There are many friends and family of our church members that need your prayers this week.  Please continue to pray for Lola De Young and her parents Matt & Lindsey.  Also, Barb, friend of Della Sawyer, undergoing chemotherapy; Marie Mc Donald, friend of Esther Hoag, who has cancer; and Caitlin, friend of Abbey Licari, diagnosed with Leukemia.
  • We pray for all those who are serving in the military.  In particular we pray for Amie Pierce serving in Kuwait.
  • NEIGHBORHOOD CHURCH MINISTRIES is encouraging the community of churches in Wyoming to lift one another up in prayer.  Each month they will list a few churches that we all can pray for specifically.  For July the churches that are being prayed for are: July 27: Our Lady of La Vang Vietnamese Catholic Church

Let’s join together in this effort to encourage one another and lift  one another up in prayer.

  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mr. Ralph Bolt, Mrs Tena DeVink, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mrs Ruth Ver Merris.

As other prayers are shared, you are invited to write them down and include them in your prayers for our congregation this week. Please keep the church informed of your prayer needs and praise reports.

Connections Prayer Focus

Please pray that folks in our neighborhood who have no church home will find one at Connections as we continue to show love, care and hospitality through our block party this week: Thursday the last three Block Parties:

July 31 Block Party – WEST (Plas, Hubal and Kentfield)

  • Pray that we will build relationships of trust with the families.
  • Pray that we share freely the change that God has made in our lives.
  • Pray that entire families will be touched with the good news.
  • Pray that as a result new families join in God’s plan for Connections.
  •

Please pray with us that our presence will continue to connect them with God, each other and the community.

In Christ’s Love,
