TODAY WE WELCOME Rev. Andrew Bossardet, Coordinator for

 Equipping Thriving Congregations, who will lead our service and

 share the message.  We thank you for being with us this Lord’s Day!


DISCOVERY KIDZ will be taking a summer break.  Children are

 welcome to sit with their parents in the sanctuary for worship. 

 Children’s bulletins are available at the sound board or on the

 narthex table.  Discovery Kidz will resume on July 16 with a fun

 summer theme “Be a Hero for God”


MUSIC MINISTRY – Our Special Music this morning is presented by

 Don Mc Dougall.  Don is a former leader of our choir and member of

 Grace.  We thank you for being with us once again today and sharing

 your testimony in song! 


PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.


SUNDAYS AT SIX – NO evening service tonight!





NEXT SUNDAY Commissioned Pastor Candidate, Heather Dood, will

 lead our service and share the message: “What’s Your Status?” from

 Ephesians 5:25-32.  We will meet at Faith Reformed Church at

 6:00 pm next Sunday with Pastor Bruce Osbeck preaching.




HEALTH CONCERNS:  Please be in prayer for Jerry Hendrickson 

 who is a patient at Butterworth Hospital.  They have found cancer in

 his hip and he will be undergoing additional testing.  For all other

 praise reports and prayer concerns, see the prayers and praise line in

 your bulletin today.


CONGRATULATIONS are extended to Mary Huizen who celebrated

 her 90th Birthday on July 1! 


THE CONSISTORY has accepted the resignation of Jerry

 Hendrickson as an Elder due to health concerns.  We thank him for

 his time of service to God and to Grace Church.




YOUTH GOING ON MISSION TRIP – Drop in at church sometime

 between 6:30 – 8:30 Monday, July 10 for permission trip notarizing.

 All must come sometime during this time frame.  If unable you must

 contact Heather to make arrangements prior to July 14.


NO PRAISE TEAM PRACTICE will take place tomorrow, July 3. 

 Next practice will be July 10 at 7:00 pm.


PASTOR RICK AND DONNA will be on vacation through July 13. 

 If a need arises during this time, please contact your Caring

 Shepherd, Elder, or call the church office and we will contact them

 for you. 



 on Sunday, July 16 during the morning worship service. 


SAVE THE DATE!  We will have a CHURCH PICNIC on Saturday,

 August 19 from 4:00 – 7:30 pm.  More details to follow!

Prayers & Praise Line

 “Pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances;

for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Congregational Prayers and Praise


  • We are so thankful today for the freedom we have in this country and those who fought for our independence.
  • We thank God today for the beauty of nature.  For warm summer days and times of rest and relaxation.
  • We lift up Pastor Rick and Donna as they take some time for vacation.  We pray for relaxation and refreshment.  We thank and praise God for their ministry here at Grace.
  • We remember in our prayers our Discovery Kidz as they go through the summer months.  We pray for fun times, discovery, and a closer relationship to Jesus.  We pray for Ms. Heather as she prepares for their summer session and fall events.
  • Keep our Y-Life group and leaders in your prayers as they prepare for their upcoming summer mission trip to Gatlinburg, TN.
  • We pray for Pastor George and Connections. We pray for the youth and adults that attend each week.  We pray for them as they continue to grow and expand.  We pray for their block parties that will begin soon.
  • Please pray for the Transition team as they continue their work.
  • Please continue to remember our Grace members and members of their families who are in need of healing, comfort, and strength.  Esther Hoag; Char Otto; Shirley De Bruin; Brent Kerkstra, son of Paul;  Janet, sister of Wes Dekker; Lana, granddaughter of Ken & Cindy Wylie.
