TODAY AT GRACE
 
OUR MINISTRY OF MUSIC this morning is presented by Mr. Bill De Young
 of Fairway Christian Reformed Church.  We welcome you and thank
 you for sharing your testimony in song with us this Lord’s day.  We
 also thank Judy Palmbos for playing the organ for us today!
 
THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of July is designated for the Bible
 League.  This special offering will be received today. 
 
THE SUNDAY SCHOOL GUIDE CLASS will meet in the Consistory Room.
 You are invited to join them.

NEXT SUNDAY – AUGUST 6, 2006
 
NEXT SUNDAY Rev. David Van Opstall, a recent graduate of Western
 Seminary will lead us in worship and share the messages.  Pastor
 Rick & Donna will be on vacation.  They will return August 9th.  If an
 emergency arises, please contact your Caring Shepherd, Elder, or
 Pastor Roger;  or you can call the office and we will contact them for
 you.
 
THE DOOD/ZONDERVAN Bible Study Group will meet after the morning
 worship service.
 
PRAYERS & PRAISE
 
HEALTH CONCERNS – Jim Friar underwent surgery in Royal Oak, MI on
 Friday, July 28.  He is expected to be hospitalized 3 days and then
 will return home to Wyoming.  Deb Pierce will undergo surgery
 Friday, August 4th for foot surgery.  Please keep Jim and Deb and
 their families in your prayers this week. See the Prayers & Praise
 Line inserted in your bulletin today for all the other Prayer Requests
 and Praise Reports.
 
IN APPRECIATION – Thanks so very much to everyone who has been
 over working on the parsonage getting ready for Holly & me to
 move in!  Also, thanks bunches for all the food and supplies that
 were there to surprise us as well!  It was such a blessing and I’m
 really excited to be here and to get started serving at Grace.  Feel
 free to stop by my office anytime to say “Hi!”  I’d absolutely love to
 meet and get to know each of you.  Thanks again! ~Nikki Probst
 
MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS
 
MEN!  There is still time to reserve your spot for the PROMISE KEEPERS
 CONVENTION September 15 & 16 at the Van Andel Arena.  All men,
 ages 15 and up are encouraged to attend!  This event will “pump you
 up” and help you focus on the things in life that are worth your time
 to focus on!  Cost $69.00 for the first 11 signed up, $89.00
 thereafter!  See Ray Zondervan if you have any questions.
 
FIESTA REUNION –The next Fiesta Reunion is scheduled for Wed., August
 16th, 6:30 – 8:30 pm. You will want to experience all the fun once
 again!  Invite a friend.
 
CONSISTORY MEMBERS – Next meeting is scheduled for August 14th
 Elders will meet at 6:30 pm – Consistory at 7:30 pm. 
 
NEEDED THIS FALL…Teachers & Leaders for fall Youth Programs. 
 Sunday School, Wednesday Nights, Middle School Youth Group,
 Children & Worship, Cadets…lots for you to choose from!  Sign up on
 the sheet in the narthex and indicate what group you would be
 interested in helping with!
 
THE NEXT GALAXY will soon be published.  Articles are due August 22nd
 Survey for the Galaxy…what is your all time favorite sandwich!  Drop
