OUR MINISTRY OF MUSIC – this morning is presented by Don

 Mc Dougall. Thank you for sharing with us in such a special way

 today!

PRAYERS & PRAISE

IN APPRECIATION – I am so thankful for the prayers, phone calls,

 cards, and food following my recent fall. I give special thanks to

 Bill Tacoma for the several times he cut my grass. Grace Church is

 filled with good Samaritans. My thanks to you all. ~Ron Lankheet

 

 Dear Grace Congregation, Our heartfelt thanks to all of you who

 prayed, sent cards, or expressed your personal words of comfort

 and concern during the illness and recent death of our brother,

 Marvin Witvliet. In our sadness, we rejoice that his suffering has

 ended and he is with our Lord and Savior. Special thanks to Pastor

 Rick for his visit and his prayers for Marvin and for us.

 share the message at both our morning and evening worship service. 

 

MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

PASTOR RICK AND DONNA will be on vacation through

 July 12. If an emergency arises, please call your Elder

 Representative, Caring Shepherd, or call the office and we will

 contact them for you. 

 

CONSISTORY – the next meeting will be held on July 25th. Elders

 will meet at 6:30 pm and Consistory at 7:30 pm.

 

THE SACRAMENT OF THE LORDS SUPPER will be celebrated

 at Grace on Sunday, July 17th.

 

CHOIR PICNIC Choir, Men & Women’s Chorus and their spouses

 are invited to Paul’s cottage for a picnic on Saturday, August 6. 

 Come anytime after 1 PM. Bring a dish to pass. Supper will be at

 5:00 pm. Sign up in the narthex. If you would like to carpool and

 ride together in the church vans, see Stan De Witt.

 

Local Opportunity for helping on a Habitat for

 Humanity BUILD! Churches and Habitat are partnering in the

 ‘Faith United Build’ which will impact 50 families on the southeast

 side of GR. Opportunities for building are available all summer for

 individuals that are interested. We are planning to put a work group

 from Grace together in the fall. Sign up on the sheet in the narthex!

 

FAMILY NETWORK OF WYOMING tees up for its 5th Annual

 Charity Golf Classic on Friday, July 15 at the Pines Golf Course. 

 Funds raised will help secure food for families in need in the

 Wyoming community. Your $50.00 registration includes lunch from

 the grill, 18 holes of golf with cart, snacks on course, door prizes and

 awards. Lunch is served from 11:30 – 12:30 with a 1:00 pm shot gun

 start. Men’s, Women’s and co-ed divisions are available. Call

 885-9919 for more information or to register.

  • We give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His love and mercy endure forever!
  • We thank God for the freedom we enjoy in this country. We praise God for the men and women who fought for that freedom!
  • We pray today for Pastor George as he continues to build the Crossing Community. We pray that lives may be changed.
  • We pray today for those who are hurting. May they feel God’s love and presence surround them and hold them close.
  • Remember in your prayers those who have recently undergone surgery. We pray for Mary Huizen, Phyllis Vander Sloot, and Joan Patterson. 
  • Please keep Rose Borkowski, mother of Anna, in your prayers as she is undergoing testing for stomach problems.
  • We remember in prayer the following family or friends of our members that are ill or receiving treatments: Dan De Vries, brother of Lisa Braendle;
