THIS MORNING Pastor Rick will share the message “REACH OUT AND
 TOUCH A CITY” as we prepare for a week of Vacation Bible School. 
FIESTA is happening this week! 
Kids ages 4 through 5th grade join us
each day from 6:30 – 9:00 pm! This year we will end the week with a family dinner on Friday and a chance for the kids families to experience Fiesta for themselves!
VBS WORKERS – Everyone should be here by 6:00 pm.  Crew Leaders
 report to the Sanctuary for last minute instruction and supplies.  All
 others report to your area. If you have any questions, see Shari today.
 4:30 PM PRAYER GROUP will meet in Pastor Rick’s Office.
NEXT SUNDAY morning you will be able to experience Fiesta! Come and
 hear the songs and music from the kids and see the sights.  Pastor
 Rick will bring the message.
SUNDAYS AT SIX – Join us in the Chapel as Pastor Rick leads in a study
 and discussion on the Book of Esther:  “For Such A Time As
 This”.  The message next week: “The Purim of the Jews”.
HEALTH CONCERNS – Jan VanWyk was a patient at St Mary’s this week.
 Millie Nevins was admitted to Metropolitan Hospital after taking a
 fall.  Christy Oppenhuizen will undergo outpatient surgery on
 Wednesday at Butterworth Hospital.  Dorothy Church is now at
 Brookcrest in Grandville.  Please also remember Dena Bell (Les &
 Jan VanWyk’s daughter) in your prayers.  She is hospitalized in
 Birmingham, Alabama with difficulties following knee surgery.  See
 also the Prayers & Praise Line inserted in your bulletin today.
OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHIES are extended to the family of Virginia
 Workman who passed away on Thursday, June 8 at the age of 80. 
 Visitation and services will be held tomorrow.
IN APPRECIATION – A sincere thank you to all of you for all of the
 prayers, cards, visits, meals, etc. during the last months.  I have now
 completed chemo and am doing very well.  I thank God for all of you
 and your support.  Please continue to pray. ~Carole Lankheet
OFFERS ACCEPTED! Both Nikki Probst and Darrell Delaney accepted the
 positions offered them at Grace!  Darrell will begin his work at Grace
 tomorrow.  Nikki will be here this coming week for VBS, but will not
 “officially” begin until mid July.
 NIKKI PROBST has accepted the position of “Community Outreach
 Director”.  Nikki has just graduated from Southern Baptist Seminary
 with a Masters Degree in Youth and Christian Education.  She has
 much experience with young people, especially in urban settings. 
 She presently lives in Louisville, KY.
 DARRELL DELANEY has accepted the position of “Children and Youth
 Ministries  Director”.  Darrell graduated from Reformed Bible
 College and also has much experience with Youth Ministry.  Darrell
 lives with his wife Kia, and three of their sisters in Grand Rapids.
Please be in prayer for both Nikki and Darrell as they 
prepare to begin their work at Grace.
Tuesday, June 20, 7:00 pm – SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND CHILDREN’S
 MINISTRY TEAMS will meet with Darrell Delaney and begin looking
 and planning fall programming.  Meet in the Consistory room.
Tuesday, June 20, 8:00 pm – OUTREACH TEAM MEETING
Wednesday, June 21 – ANNUAL CHURCH PICNIC at Pinery Park!  See the
 insert in the bulletin today and reserve your spot.
THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of June is designated for the
 Synod of the Great Lakes Church Planting Campaign.  In the Synod
 of the Great Lakes, over the last 10 years the new church plants have
 seen an average of 30% of the new attendees to be new believers and
 another 25% to be those who are recommitting their lives to Christ. 
 This special offering will be received on June 25th.
