TODAY we welcome all the VBS kids and their families to our worship
service! We had a great time this week learning about the Power of
Jesus! To all those who prayed for, donated to, and participated in
the Power Lab VBS, we thank you! We could not have done it
without you. Many people were blessed because of you.

Children ages 3 & 4 meet in Fellowship Hall with
Worship Leaders Hennie Rosema & Sue Stuk.
Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room with
Worship Leaders Gracia Class & Chelsea Boeve.
The Children will be brought back upstairs to sing the closing VBS songs.

SUNDAYS AT SIX – This evening Pastor Rick continues a study entitled
“Worship from the Tabernacle.” This study will observe the Hebrew
ways of worshipping according to the Old Testament mandate to
“worship God alone.” We will learn about people, places, and tools of
worship that engaged the people with the object of worship, God
himself. Join us at the Crossing.


HEALTH CONCERNS – Laura Marshall is home after being hospitalized
with Kidney stones earlier in the week. Keep Rick and Laura in your
prayers as they work through their health concerns. See the Prayers
& Praise Line for all the other prayer concerns and praise reports.

MISSION PRAYERS – Please be in prayer for Janna Emelander, along
with 9 other students from Calvin Christian High School, as they are
on a mission trip in Africa. While there they will be spending time at
local schools, orphanages, and working on various special projects.

KIDS AT CAMP – This coming week Allie Mc Elroy will be at
Camp Geneva. Please keep Allie in your prayers as
well as all the children as they experience God in new
and exciting ways!

 NEXT SUNDAY – JUNE 22, 2008

NEXT SUNDAY Greg & Ruth De Haan, our missionaries to the Sudan, will
be with us and share news about their mission and present the AM
message. For our evening service, Rev. Todd Bush, Pastor of New
Life Community Church will lead our service and share the message.

9:30 AM CHOIR MEMBERS be here to practice before singing next week.


OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of June is designated for
ACTION, Assisting Challenged Teenagers In Our Neighborhood,
a program of Neighborhood Church Ministries. This group is
responsible for bringing Joseph Jennings to our community to speak
to youth at gatherings in high schools, churches, as well as other area
events. Many teens have made a commitment to the Lord as a result
of these rallies. This special offering will be received on June 29.

PRAYER WALKS in the neighborhood of Grace are taking place on
Monday evenings, Tuesday morning, Wednesday evening, and
Saturday morning once a month (on the week prior to and including
the 3rd Saturday). More walkers are welcome. Sign up on the form in
the narthex.

CHOIR MEMBERS – Save Saturday, August 9 for the annual Choir Picnic
at Paul’s cottage. All Senior Choir, and Men’s and Women’s Chorus
members and their spouses are invited to join. Come anytime after
1:00 pm. Supper is at 5:00 pm. Bring a dish to pass.
