TODAY AT GRACE

 

TODAY WE WELCOME Pastor George Grevenstuk who will lead our

 service and share the message.

 

DISCOVERY KIDZ will be taking a summer break.  Children are

 welcome to sit with their parents in the sanctuary for worship. 

 Children’s bulletins are available at the sound board or on the

 narthex table.  

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.

 

SUNDAYS AT SIX – Our evening service will be held at Faith

 Reformed Church.  Rev. Harvey Hertz will lead the service and share

 the message.

CONGRATULATIONS to Orville and Esther Hoag who will celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary on June 19.  We will celebrate with Orville and Esther and their family today as cake is served in their honor following the service. 

Congratulations Orville and Esther on 50 years of love and commitment. 

 

MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of June is designated for

 the Y-Life Mission Trip to Gatlinburg, TN.  Our youth group along

 with the youth group from Newhall will be traveling July 16-22 to

 work for TEAMeffort Missions doing home repair projects in the

 heart of the Smoky Mountains.  This offering will be received next

 Sunday.

 

ELDERS & DEACONS the next Elders and Consistory meetings will

 take place on June 26.

 

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE PSALM?  There is still time to turn

 in a favorite Psalm!  This psalm will be incorporated into our worship

 time through hymns or reading.  If you would like, you may share

 with the congregation why this particular psalm is meaningful to you.

 You can jot your psalm down and place in collection plate, or leave on

 the desk in the office.

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • Dear God we pray that the light of Your love will shine on this land. May peace reign in our nation.  We pray for wisdom for our leaders. 
  • We thank and praise God today for Fathers, Grandfathers, Husbands, Sons, Brothers, all the men in our lives who mean so much to us.  We thank God for their lives and their love.
  • Keep our Y-Life group and leaders in your prayers as they prepare for their summer mission trip to Gatlinburg, TN.
  • We pray for Pastor George and Connections. We pray for the youth and adults that attend each week.  We pray for them as they continue to grow and expand.  We pray for their block parties that will begin soon.
  • Please pray for the Transition team as they continue their work.
  • Continue to remember Brent Kerkstra in your prayers.  We pray for healing and a return to complete health and strength.
  • Please continue to remember our Grace members and members of their families who are in need of healing, comfort, and strength.  Esther Hoag; Char Otto; Shirley De Bruin; Janet, sister of Wes Dekker; Lana, granddaughter of Ken & Cindy Wylie.
