 TODAY AT GRACE

WE CELEBRATE TODAY with our 2008 HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES. It is
our hope and prayer that as each of our graduates begins a new phase
in their lives they do so not only with increased knowledge of worldly
things, but with a sound foundation of faith in Jesus Christ.

Calvin Christian High School: Isaac Postema
Grandville High School: Chelsea Boeve
Rogers High School: Brad Beadle, Josh Sawyer

Profiles of our High School and College Graduates are printed
in the Galaxy which will be distributed today.

SPECIAL OFFERING – Our Special Offering for the month of May is
designated for the GRACE SCHOLARSHIP FUND. This fund has been
established to provide encouragement and financial assistance to
high school graduates who are going on to college. Our support and
prayers helps them as they seek self-improvement opportunities
enabling God to work His will in their respective lives. The
applicants for this scholarship must be either a baptized or
communicant member of Grace Reformed Church. This offering will
be received today.

CHILDREN & WORSHIP
Children ages 3 & 4 meet in Fellowship Hall with
Worship Leaders Hennie Rosema & Sue Stuk.
Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room with
Worship Leaders Gracia Class & Chelsea Boeve.

CREW LEADERS! There will be a Crew Leader meeting TODAY
following the morning worship service. ALSO… Anyone helping with
VBS that has not been through the Child Protection Policy Training,
please meet in the sanctuary with Darrell.

SUNDAYS AT SIX – This evening Pastor Rick begins a new study entitled
“Worship from the Tabernacle.” This study will observe the Hebrews
ways of worshipping according to the Old Testament mandate to
“worship God alone.” We will learn about people, places, and tools of
worship that engaged the people with the object of worship, God
himself. Join us in the Chapel.

HEALTH CONCERNS – Rick Marshall is home following surgery for
kidney stones on Wednesday. See the Prayers & Praise Line for all
the prayer concerns and praise reports.

IN APPRECIATION – We would like to offer heart-felt thanks to
everyone for their support of our adoption fundraiser. Through
sales and donations we were able to raise $4,200.00. The
generosity of this congregation was overwhelming. Thank you for
your time, your donations, and your prayers. God Bless!

 MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

“SCHOOL KITS” Service Project for children in impoverished schools,
refugee camps, and other difficult settings in the world. This
collection will continue throughout the summer. See Shari Dood if
you have any questions.

COOKIES & COFFEE/PUNCH will be served on the patio following the
morning service! If you would be willing to make cookies for this
fellowship time, please sign up in the narthex.

YOU ARE INVITED TO ATTEND THE RCA GENERAL SYNOD MEETINGS at
Hope College in Holland! Larry Kleymeer will be our delegate. See
the insert in the bulletin today for a schedule.

NOW IS THE TIME TO PRE-REGISTER YOUR CHILDREN FOR VBS! Forms
are available on the narthex table. Return your completed form to
the marked box on the table. If you prefer, you can register your
child online www.groupvbs.com/webtoybox/myvbs/gracevbs2008.

FOOD DONATIONS for VBS can be brought to the kitchen anytime. Thank
you all so much for your donations. A few items are still needed.

GAME NEEDS: There is a list of items needed for the games on the
narthex table. Won’t you please check it out and see if there is
anything you have that we can borrow, or maybe purchase some of
