 Our Discovery Kidz Graduates:  Mary Kubiak, Sophie Licari,

 and Kayleigh Wohglemuth.

 

 Congratulations to all and may God bless and guide you in the

 future.  Cake will be served on the patio this morning in celebration

 of our graduates.

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.

 

5:00 PM YOU ARE INVITED to Beverly Reformed Church (2141

 Porter SW., Wyoming) for the Installation Service of their new

 Pastor, Rev. Mark Drane.  Note the 5:00 start time!  This will take the

 place of our evening service at Grace.

 

5:30 – 8:15 pm Y-LIFE will meet.  This is our last meeting for the

 summer!  Come hungry!

PLEASE BE IN PRAYER for Amie Pierce who will be deployed to

 Kuwait on Friday.  She has been able to spend some time with her

 family this past week before she leaves. We pray that God will guide

 and protect her while she is away.  Thank you Amie for serving!

PENTECOST SUNDAY

 

Next Sunday Pastor Rick will continue the series of messages “I WANT

 TO TESTIFY” with the message:  “The Testimony of the Spirit”

 Our special offering is designated for the “ONE SUNDAY

 PENTECOST OFFERING” which is an RCA offering for new

 churches in our classis.  Our offering will be designated for

 CONNECTIONS.  For our evening service, we will join together at

 Faith Reformed Church for a Pentecost service.

 The theme this year is  “FUN FAIR – WHERE GOD’S WORLD

 COMES TOGETHER!”  Check out the donation board located in

 the back of church.

July 17, 6:15 pm FELLOWSHIP TEAM OUTING to the Picnic Pops

 to see “A Tribute to the Beatles”.  The show starts at 7:30 pm.  $15.00

 per person.  Sign up in the narthex so tickets can be purchased!

 

MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

NEEDED FOR VBS:  T-SHIRTS!  100 used, clean (no stains or rips)

 adult size small and up.  Clean out your closets!!  You can drop them

 off in the kitchen or at the youth desk.

 

GRACE MISSION TRIP TO JACKSON COUNTY MINISTRIES

 in Annville, Kentucky, September 12-19.  If you are interested in

 hearing more about this, see or call Larry Kleymeer (534-5146).

 

PARKING LOT PAVING – Our parking lot is scheduled to be paved

 the week of June 15.  It will be completely tore up and repaved.  So

 keep that in mind as you will be making plans.  If you would like to

 help fund this major project, donations will be welcomed!  Just

 designate “Building Fund” on your offering envelope.

 

CHURCH WORLD SERVICE CARE KITS – We have an

 opportunity once again to make up care kits for Church World

 Service.  This will also be designated as the MISSION PROJECT

 for VBS this year.  We would like to collect as much as possible

 ahead of time, then the children will contribute and assemble the kits.

 We will be collecting for the Hygiene Kits.  Needed are: hand towels

 (16 x 28), washcloth, wide tooth comb, nail clippers, bath size bar of

 soap (in individual wrapper) toothbrush (in packaging), band-aids

 (standard size), one gallon plastic zip lock bag. Boxes will be placed at

 the entrances for your donations.  Thank you!

Congregational Prayers and Praise

 

 

  • We thank and praise God for our Youth.  We pray for all the graduates as they go in different directions.  We pray for God’s leading in their lives.
  • We thank God for teachers who devote themselves to our children. 
  • We pray for Heather Dood as she prepares for this year’s Vacation Bible School.  We pray for those who may be thinking of volunteering, and the children that will come.
  • There are many friends and family of our church members that need your prayers this week.  Please continue to pray for Lola De Young and her parents Matt & Lindsey.  Also, Barb, friend of Della Sawyer, undergoing chemotherapy; Marie Mc Donald, friend of Esther Hoag, who has cancer; and Caitlin, friend of Abbey Licari, diagnosed with Leukemia.
  • We pray for all those who are serving in the military. 
  • We pray for Amie Pierce as she prepares to leave for Kuwait on Friday. 
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mr. Ralph Bolt, Mrs Tena DeVink,Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mrs Ruth Ver Merris.
