TODAY AT GRACE
TODAY WE WELCOME the VBS kids and their families to our worship
service. We had a great week with about 50 kids each day!
4:00 PM WORSHIP SERVICE CELEBRATING THE NEW WORLD
COMMUNION OF REFORMED CHURCHES to be held at Van Noord
Arena at Calvin College. All are invited to attend a festive
communion service, joining more than 1000 delegates and guests
from around the world that are meeting on the campus of Calvin
College in celebration of the birth of the World Communion of
Reformed Churches. This will take the place of evening
PRAYERS & PRAISE
HEALTH CONCERNS – Roger Vander Sloot is now home following heart
surgery last week. Keep Roger in your prayers as he heals and
regains his strength. See the Prayer and Praise Line for more prayer
requests and praise reports.
IN APPRECIATION – Thank you to my church family for the many cards,
visits, meals, flowers, and mostly for your prayers throughout my
mom’s illness and homegoing. They are all so very much

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who helped with VBS this year! We
could have not made this a success without you all! I appreciate
your time that you gave thru the week and your dedication to our

NEXT SUNDAY, JUNE 27, 2010
NEXT SUNDAY MORNING Pastor Rick will continue the “Summer
Stories” series with the message “YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING!
MANURE?” from Luke 13:6-9. Sunday afternoon Pastor Rick, as
President of the Classis, will be presiding over the installation of
Rev. Peter Van Elderen at First Reformed Church of Byron Center.
In Pastor Rick’s absence, Rev. Todd Bush will lead our evening
worship service and share the message.
THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of June is designated for the
GRACE BUILDING FUND. This offering will be received next Sunday.
SUMMER DISCOVERY KIDZ FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT ROTATION - Next
rotation begins July 11. We still need volunteers. See Heather if you
can help out!

We Pray and Trust God
Today is Father’s Day. Thank God for your father, for his
leadership, and guidance in your life! Then praise your Heavenly
Father for His unfailing love and care for us.

Pray that God will lead us to clarity.

We praise God for the opportunities we had to spread the Word this past week to our children and the children of the neighborhood.
We thank God for all the volunteers this past week! We also are so thankful and grateful for the work of our Children & Youth Coordinator, Heather Dood.
We thank God for his healing touch.
Please keep Keri (Boeve) Desmarais in your prayers as she is to stay off her feet until the birth of her son, due in August.
Remember Roger Vander Sloot in your prayers as he recovers and regains his strength following heart surgery.
Keep John De Jong in your prayers as he considers the next steps in his healing/treatment plan.
Remember Willie Hiemstra and Janet Yonkers as they undergo rehab.
We pray today for Lucille Sytsema as she continues with chemo. Pray for strength and encouragement.
Please pray for Connie Maile, sister of Jim Emelander, who is battling cancer.
