TODAY, following the service, a special time of prayer and anointing by
the Pastor and Elders will take place. We invite all those who would
like special prayers for healing to join us at the front of the sanctuary.
Also following the morning service, cake & coffee will be served as we
bid Darrell & Kia Delaney farewell as they have resigned effective
June 30. Darrell will be taking up full time studies at Western
Theological Seminary in the fall and Kia will take classes part time at
Aquinas College toward a teaching degree.

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord,
plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you
hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and
pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and
find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
Jeremiah 29:11-13

All Children ages 3 years – 2nd Grade will meet together
through the summer months in the Fellowship Hall.
Worship Leaders this week are Donna Oppenhuizen &
Shari Dood. 


HEALTH CONCERNS – Hennie Rosema underwent surgery to remove her
gallbladder on Friday. Al Grimm, Bob Stadt, and Christy
Oppenhuizen are all now at their respective homes. Continue to
keep all these members of our Grace family in your prayers as they
regain their health and strength. See Prayers & Praise Line for all
other prayer requests and praise reports.

KIDS AT CAMP – This coming week Jacob Wohlgemuth (grandson of
Wes & Linda Lowing) will be at Cran Hill Ranch.
Please keep Jacob in your prayers as well as all the
campers as they have the opportunity to experience
God in new and exciting ways at Christian camps this

THANK YOU! Thank you to everyone who helped make “Crocodile
Dock” such a huge success! We truly did see God at work in our
Vacation Bible School. Thanks to all the crew leaders…30 persons
helped in this area! Thanks to those who made and put up
decorations! Thanks to those who helped register the children!
Thanks to those who taught (drama) and reinforced the Bible
stories! Thanks to those who prepared and led the crafts! Thanks
to those who led the children in games. Thanks to those who
prepared and served our yummy treats! Thank you to those who
took pictures and ran the sound board and the Power Point! Thanks
to those who led the opening songs and skits. The total number of
children who came to VBS was 87 and Thursday was the high count
day with 73 children. Most of all we thank our great God who sent
us the children and gave us the truths of the Gospel story to share
with others. There will be a Crocodile Dock reunion on August 17
from 11 am – 1 pm. ~Shari Dood

 NEXT SUNDAY – JUNE 28, 2009

NEXT SUNDAY Rev. Bruce Kuiper will be with us and lead both our
morning and evening worship services. Pastor Rick and Donna will
be on vacation June 22 – July 7. If a need arises, please call your
Caring Shepherd, Elder, or call the office and we will reach them for


THE MISSION/OUTREACH TEAM will meet Tuesday, June 30 at 7:00 pm.

GRACE BUILDING FUND. Our goal is to raise $120,000.00. This
offering will be received on June 28th.

FAMILY NETWORK OF WYOMING tees up for its 3rd Annual Charity Golf
Classic on Friday, July 10 at the Pines Golf Course. Funds raised will
help secure food for families in need in the Wyoming community.
Your $50 registration includes lunch from the grill, 18 holes of golf
with cart, door prizes and awards. Lunch is served from 11:30 –
12:30 with a 1:00 shot gun start on the golf course. Men’s, Women’s
and Co-ed divisions are available. Call 885-9919 for more
information or to register.

The Prayer and Praise Line is a way to let our Grace Congregation
know about your prayer needs and praise reports.

Watch for these weekly prayer updates regarding the
possibility of a new church start.

Pray for God’s leading as we seek to make a decision by this fall.

Praise God for…

• Answered prayers for the Marshall family as they were approved by
the Ethiopian court and will travel to pick up their son in late July!
• Our good week of VBS and the children who came

Prayers for…

• Darrell, Kia, and Christopher Delaney as they prepare to move and
begin the next stage of their lives
• The Prayer Walks taking place in our community
• Christy Kleymeer as she seeks the best course of treatment
• Those who have recently been hospitalized or have underwent
surgery including: Roger Vander Sloot, Bob Stadt, Al Grimm,
Christy Oppenhuizen, Hennie Rosema
• Family and friends of our Grace congregation who have
special needs at the present time including: April Stadt,
Gretchen Stauffer, Wilma Osterink
