DISCOVERY KIDZ will take a break through July 19.  Kids are

 invited to sit with their parents in the sanctuary.  Children’s bulletins

 are available on the sound desk and on the narthex table.


A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.


NO EVENING SERVICE will be held at Grace tonight.

OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHIES are extended to Paul Kerkstra

 and family upon the loss of his sister, Sharon Ratering, on Sunday,

 June 14 at the age of 73.  Funeral services were held on Friday at

 Grand Rapids First.


A SPECIAL THANK YOU to Shirley De Bruin and Al and Jean

 Johnson:  for all your visits, phone calls, food, flowers, taking me to

 appointments, etc., prayers offered up to God on my behalf, and for

 being faithful, caring friends.  To my family, especially Linda and

 Gary, Vicki and Rick, Dan and Michelle: for taking me to

 appointments, bringing in food, doing laundry, cleaning my

 apartment, taking me to see Mac, getting groceries and endless

 other loving deeds.  Changes in lifestyle is not easy!  Jesus has been

 my rock!  "Through it all" He has shown His steadfast love to both

NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will continue with the Bible in a Year

 Series with the message “Joys and Sorrows”. 



OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of June is designated for

 RCA Care NetWork/World Renew.  The RCA has partnered over the

 years with many organizations and their relationship with the

 Christian Reformed World Relief Committee has grown deeper and

 wider. CRWRC is now World Renew and they are now their primary

 partner in domestic disaster response. World Renew is an

 organization that is greatly respected in the disaster response world,

 by both faith based organizations and governmental agencies.  This 

 special offering will be received on June 28.


HAVE YOU EVER CONSIDERED welcoming an international

 student into your home? You can bring the mission field to your own

 living room by hosting an international student who attends Calvin

 Christian High School. We are looking for one or two host families

 for the upcoming academic year to host a boy from Thailand and/or

 China. We welcome host families who have no kids, young kids, high

 school kids, and empty nesters! Training, ongoing support, and a

 monthly stipend are provided so it will not cost you anything

 financially, just time and love!  For more information contact Rachel

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank and praise God today for Fathers, Grandfathers, Husbands, Sons, Brothers, all the men in our lives who mean so much to us.  We thank God for their lives and their love.
  • We are so thankful to our Heavenly Father for the promise of life eternal to all those who believe.
  • Pray today for all those who have recently lost loved ones.  We remember Paul Kerkstra and his family in our prayers following the loss of his sister Sharon.
  • We pray today for Pastor George and his work at Connections.  We pray for him as his very busy summer season begins.  We pray for the upcoming Block parties and the many activities and groups at the Crossing.
  • Please keep Wilma Kamphuis in your prayers following hip surgery and as she moves to Waldon Woods.
  • Thank you for remembering Wes Dekker’s sister, Janet, in your prayers. She will soon begin radiation.  Please pray that they will be able to restrain any cancer left in her system. 
  • Please remember Marie Mc Donald, friend of Esther Hoag, who has cancer.
  • Continue to keep Lola De Young and her parents, Matt & Lindsey, in your prayers. 
  • We pray today for Jeff and Chelsea Lampen as they prepare to serve in Romania. 
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs. Tena DeVink, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mr. Mac Mc Alary, Mrs. Ruth Ver Merris.
