 TODAY AT GRACE

THIS MORNING we welcome Greg & Ruth De Haan along with their
children Nathaniel, Sarah, and twins James and Jonathan, to our
worship service. Greg & Ruth have ministered in Africa for many
years. Currently Greg & Ruth are working in partnership with
ACROSS, a Christian ministry established to respond to challenges
and opportunities in Sudan. Greg works at the ACROSS office in
Nairobi, Kenya. Included with the bulletin today is their most recent
yearly report that will give you more information.


CHILDREN & WORSHIP
Children ages 3 & 4 meet in Fellowship Hall with
Worship Leaders Hennie Rosema & Sue Stuk.
Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room with
Worship Leaders Gracia Class & Chelsea Boeve.


SUNDAYS AT SIX – This evening Rev. Todd Bush will lead our service and
share the message. Pastor Todd is the Pastor of Newlife Community
Church currently meeting at the Trillium Conference Center in
Spring Lake. Join us tonight at the Crossing.

 NEXT SUNDAY – JUNE 29, 2008

NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will be with us and share the message
“The Debt You Cannot Pay”. Our special music will be provided by
Mrs. Barb Halverson, daughter of Lucille Sytsema.

SUNDAYS AT SIX – Next Sunday evening Pastor Rick will continue a
study entitled “Worship from the Tabernacle.” This study will
observe the Hebrew ways of worshipping according to the Old
Testament mandate to “worship God alone.” We will learn about
people, places, and tools of worship that engaged the people with the
object of worship, God himself. Join us at the Crossing.

OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of June is designated for
ACTION, Assisting Challenged Teenagers In Our Neighborhood,
a program of Neighborhood Church Ministries. This group is
responsible for bringing Joseph Jennings to our community to speak
to youth at gatherings in high schools, churches, as well as other area
events. Many teens have made a commitment to the Lord as a result
of these rallies. This special offering will be received next Sunday.

 MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

the activities and services taking place Sunday evenings at Grace!

MISCELLANEOUS SILVERWARE and serving pieces have been left in the
kitchen. Check out the assortment of items on the table in the
narthex to see if any of it belongs to you!

CHOIR MEMBERS – Save Saturday, August 9 for the annual Choir Picnic
at Paul’s cottage. All Senior Choir, and Men’s and Women’s Chorus
members and their spouses are invited to join. Come anytime after
1:00 pm. Supper is at 5:00 pm. Bring a dish to pass.

FAMILY NETWORK 2ND ANNUAL GOLF BENEFIT – Friday, July 11, 11:30 am
at the Pines Golf Course. 4 person scramble – Come have a good
time golfing while creating ministry funds to serve the families of the
Wyoming community in need. Spots are still available!! Prizes and
silent auction! See the bulletin boards for more information and
send in your reservation ASAP!

KIDS GETTING BORED WITH SUMMER BREAK? Community Summertime
Games held at Calvin Christian Elementary School will give them and
you a nice break. Joe and Lea Oosterheert, coaches and teachers at
Calvin Christian, will be teaching kindergarteners through fifth
graders some playground games every Thursday in July (10, 17, 24,
31) from 9:30-12:00 noon. Grab some friends from the neighborhood
and head on over for some active fun! For more information and a
