TODAY we welcome Mrs. Marylynn Huizen, (2520 – 56th Street, #210,

 Wyoming, MI 49418, 616-534-1359) into our membership by

 Transfer from Eighth Reformed Church of Wyoming. 

OUR MINISTRY OF MUSIC this morning is presented by Valerie

 Holstege . Valerie is a volunteer at the Veterans Facility and a

 member of Calvary Church. Thank you for sharing your testimony in

 song today.

SUNDAYS AT SIX – Tonight we will be meeting at the Crossing

 for our evening worship service! We will continue this through the

 summer months!



HEALTH CONCERNS – Keep Joan Patterson in your prayers as she

 will undergo surgery once again in a few weeks. See the Prayer and

 Praise Line for all prayer requests and praise reports.


CONGRATULATIONS are extended to Jayme & Heather Dood upon

 the birth of a daughter, Gabriella Renee, on Friday, June 17. Heather

 & baby are doing well! We thank God for this precious gift of life

 and pray for God’s blessings on her life!


CONGRATULATIONS are extended to Keith and Carolyn Baker who

 celebrated 50 years of marriage this week! They have provided cake

 for us to enjoy this morning in celebration! 


IN APPRECIATION – Thank you to Pastor Rick and to all of you

 who came to visit and for all of your phone calls. A special thanks to

 the Elizabeth Circle. Thanks too, to all of you who send the beautiful

 cards. Your caring, prayers, & kindness is all appreciated so very

 Representative, Caring Shepherd, or call the office and we will

 contact them for you. 

Local Opportunity for helping on a Habitat for

 Humanity BUILD! Churches and Habitat are partnering in the

 ‘Faith United Build’ which will impact 50 families on the southeast

 side of GR. Check out the article in the Galaxy and respond by calling

 Shari or sign up on the sheet in the narthex.


FAMILY NETWORK OF WYOMING tees up for its 5th Annual

 Charity Golf Classic on Friday, July 15 at the Pines Golf Course. 

 Funds raised will help secure food for families in need in the

 Wyoming community. Your $50.00 registration includes lunch from

 the grill, 18 holes of golf with cart, snacks on course, door prizes and

 awards. Lunch is served from 11:30 – 12:30 with a 1:00 pm shot gun

 start. Men’s, Women’s and co-ed divisions are available. Call

 885-9919 for more information or to register.



 GRACE MARKET DAYAs another fundraiser for the Chiapas

 Mexico Mission Trip, Grace will be hosting ‘GRACE MARKET DAY’

 in the parking lot! This will be a Flea Market and Craft Sale! We will

 divide the parking area at Grace into lots which will be open to

 vendors to rent. Items for sale will include crafts and rummage

 items, as well as a Concession Stand and Baked Goods sale. YOU

 could help by

  • Volunteering to help plan, set up, and work at the sale
  • Be a Vendor at the sale or get your friends to be a Vendor – 60 lots are available!
  • Donate good used or new items to our Grace Flea Market area
  • Donate baked goods to be sold

 In the narthex you will find the sheets where you can sign up to help

 in any way! Craft/Vendor Forms are also on the table……

 please take one and give it to someone you know who

 would like to be a Craft/Vendor at our Market Day!

  • We thank and praise God for the gift of new life in Gabriella Renee Dood.
  • We thank God for the gift of music. We are thankful today for the gifts of Valerie Holstege.
  • Today we are thankful for the love of our parents, grandparents, children, and all those who have special meaning in our lives.
  • Please keep Al Schreuder in your prayers as he recovers from Typhoid Fever.
  • Remember in your prayers those who have recently undergone surgery. We pray for Mary Huizen, Phyllis Vander Sloot, and Joan Patterson. 
  • We remember in prayer the following family or friends of our members that are ill or receiving treatments: Dan De Vries, brother of Lisa Braendle; Amee Bekkering, daughter of Dick & Ruth Locke; Tyler Huisman, nephew of Wes & Linda Lowing; Larry VerMerris, son of Ruth Vermerris, who has undergone extensive chemo and radiation and is in recovery from pancreatic cancer.
  • Keep these friends and family serving in the military in your prayers: Amie Pierce, Doug Desmarais, Frank Senko, Dave
