TODAY AT GRACE
 
WE CELEBRATE TODAY with our 2006 HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES.  It is
 our hope and prayer that as each of our graduates begins a new phase
 in their lives they do so not only with increased knowledge of worldly
 things, but with a sound foundation of faith in Jesus Christ.
 
 Calvin Christian High School:  Stephanie Postema
 Grandville High School:  Jeff Kosters
 Rogers High School:  Rachel Pence
 
Profiles of our High School and College Graduates are printed in the Galaxy which will be distributed today.
 
THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of May is designated for the
 SCHOLARSHIP FUND.  This special offering will be received today.
 
 
FOLLOWING THE MORNING SERVICE we will have cake and coffee on the
 plaza in appreciation for the dedication of our teachers, leaders, and
 other volunteers at Grace!  It takes MANY people to run the Youth
 Programs here at Grace...we appreciate each one of you! 
 
 
THE DOOD/ZONDERVAN SMALL GROUP will meet in the room opposite
 the Chapel following the service.

SUNDAYS AT SIX – Join us in the Chapel as Pastor Rick leads in a study
 and discussion on the Book of Esther:  “For Such A Time As
 This”.  The message next week: “The Purpose of Esther”.
 
PRAYERS & PRAISE
 
IN APPRECIATION – Thank you to Pastor Rick for his calls and my
 church family for the Prayers and cards following my fall.

OFFERS EXTENDED – At a special meeting of the Consistory, they voted
 to accept the recommendation of the Search Committee to offer to:
 
 NIKKI PROBST the position of “Community Outreach Director”. 
 Nikki has just graduated from Southern Baptist Seminary with a
 Masters Degree in Youth and Christian Education.  She has much
 experience with young people, especially in urban settings.  She
 presently lives in Louisville, KY.
 
 DARRELL DELANEY the position of “Children and Youth Ministries
 Director”.  Darrell graduated from Reformed Bible College and also
 has much experience with Youth Ministry.  Darrell lives with his wife
 Kia, and three of their sisters in Grand Rapids.
 
 Please be in prayer for both Nikki and Darrell as they consider these
 offers.  Pray that God’s leading will be confirmed.

 will be available on the plaza following our morning worship service. 
 If you would be willing to make cookies for this fellowship time, sign

NOW IS THE TIME TO PRE-REGISTER YOUR CHILDREN FOR FIESTA! 
 Please pick up a registration sheet from the table in the narthex for
 each child and any friends you may want to invite.  Return your
 completed form to the box on the table.
 
TWO USED WORD PROCESSORS are available to anyone who can make
 use of them.  They are located on the counter at “Youth Central” in
 the downstairs hall.  They are free to anyone who can use them.
