9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET. All children ages 3

 years – 5th Grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 

 

ELDERS INVITATION If you have questions, concerns, joys, or

 prayer needs that you would like to share, please see the Pastor or

 an Elder today. Elders will be greeting at the doors as you leave the

 sanctuary this morning and they are also listed on the back of your

 bulletin. You may also make a notation on the Fellowship Register.

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the Sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George and the new church start. All are welcome.

 

THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL GUIDE CLASS will meet in

 the Consistory Room following the morning service today.

 

6:00 PM – THE LENTEN PULPIT EXCHANGE continues tonight. 

 The theme this year is: The Scandal of the Cross. Rev. Bruce Osbeck,

 Pastor of Faith Reformed Church, will be leading our service and

 sharing the message. Pastor Scott Crane will be preaching at Faith.

4th SUNDAY IN LENT

 

NEXT SUNDAY Rev. Scott Crane will lead our service and share a

 message from “The Story: From Shepherd to King”. In

 preparation read Chapter 11. 

 

4:30 PM - Y-LIFE FOR MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH.

 We will be meeting at the Crossing at 4:30 to head out to a hockey

 game and dinner to follow. Please let Mrs. Heather know if can make

 it.

 

6:00 PM – We will continue the Lenten Pulpit Exchange with 

 Mr. Chris Hall leading our service and sharing the message. Chris

 is a Commissioned Pastor Candidate from Beverly Reformed Church

 who is planting Elevation Church. Presently he is the Director of

 Strategic Initiatives at Habitat for Humanity of Kent County.

 Pastor Scott Crane will be preaching at Unity Reformed Church.

 

PRAYERS & PRAISE

 

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who signed up to be PRAYER

 PARTNERS for the 12 of us who are on the MISSION TRIP IN

 CHIAPAS MEXICO. We really appreciate your prayers each day! 

 In the past we have sent postcards to our prayer partners while we

 were gone, but we will not be doing that this time due to postage

 being about $1 for a postcard and the length of time for delivery

 being up to 4-6 weeks. However, we will share our experiences and

 thanks in emails and after we return. Thank you again for your

 prayers.

The TOILET PAPER DRIVE has been a huge success! About 775

 rolls of regular, large, extra large, and jumbo size toilet paper was

 collected. THANK YOU to each one of you who gave so

 generously! Many people at FNOW will be grateful to you! 

 

MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

 
DISCOVERY KIDZ next rotation starts MARCH 18. This is only

 a 2 week rotation!! Still in need of one shepherd and someone for

 cooking. Please see Heather today if you can help!

 

OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of March is designated for

 the GEMS Organization. Our girls have had a great year and will

 celebrate with an Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, March 21st. All

 family and friends are invited to attend the ceremony! We will

 celebrate GEMS Sunday on March 25. The special offering will be

 received on that day!

 

WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE activities will conclude for the season on

 March 28!

 

DINNER will be served in appreciation for all the prayerful support of

 our Mission team on Sunday, April 22 following the morning

 service. The team will share some of their experiences during the

 service that day and also at the dinner. A “free” Beef Roast Dinner

 with all the delicious trimmings will be served! Please plan to join us!

 

GRACES 3RD ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT will take place

 Saturday April 7th. Once again we need your help. Candy and lots of

 it is need to fill our 1000 + eggs. Please drop your individually
 wrapped candy
donations off at the Youth desk downstairs. We will

 need volunteers the day of the event to spread eggs around and help

 at the prize tables. If you are able to help, please see Mrs. Heather or

 sign up in the narthex.

LENTEN BREAKFAST – Beverly Reformed Church Women’s

 Ministries have invited us to join them in their annual Lenten

 Breakfast on Wednesday, March 28 at 9:30 am at their church,

 2141 Porter, Wyoming. The program will feature vocalist Janet

 Voetburg. A free will offering will be received for Women at Risk

 (WAR) an organization that advocates against human trafficking and

 abuse. Please phone your reservations by March 18 to Lorraine (538-

ELECTRONICS RECYCLING COLLECTION – Unity Reformed

 Church is running a free electronics collection event Friday, March 16

 to Sunday, March 18. A flyer with all the details on hours, and what

 is acceptable is located on the narthex table. E-Waste (electronic

 waste) is a growing concern to our environment. When put in

 landfills, e-waste can leak harmful toxins into our soil and water! 

 You can help make a difference! Recycle today!

  • We thank and praise God for the signs of spring this past week. We pray that we will be more aware
  • of the beauty of God’s creation each and every day, and commit to preserving that beauty. 
  • We thank God today for the leaders of this church. May God bless their lives and ministry.
