TODAY AT GRACE

DISCOVERY KIDZ will join us this morning as share what they

 learned about about Lazarus. A big thank you to the following

 persons who volunteered this past rotation: Della and John Sawyer,

 Karen Roberts, Sue Stuk, Jen Hendges, Rick Marshall, Brian and

 Sandy Gort, Joan Patterson, Kerri Baker.

 THE NEXT ROTATION STARTS TODAY. This is only a 2

 week rotation!! Still in need of someone for cooking. Please see

 Heather if you can help!
 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the Sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George and the new church start. All are welcome.

 

THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL GUIDE CLASS will meet in

 the Consistory Room following the morning service today.

 

4:00 PM - Y-LIFE FOR MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH.

 We will be meeting at the Crossing at 4:00 to head out to a hockey

 game and dinner to follow.

 

6:00 PM – We will continue the Lenten Pulpit Exchange with 

 Mr. Chris Hall leading our service and sharing the message. Chris

 is a Commissioned Pastor Candidate from Beverly Reformed Church

 who is planting Elevation Church. Presently he is the Director of

 Strategic Initiatives at Habitat for Humanity of Kent County.

 Pastor Scott Crane will be preaching at Unity Reformed Church.

 1:00 PM THE ELIZABETH CIRCLE will meet in the

 Consistory Room. We will discuss Lesson 3 of the Study

 Book Psalms.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 21, 2012

 3:45 – 6:00 PM CLUB 3:16 for Grades 3 & 4

 WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE

 6:00 PM FELLOWSHIP DINNER – Ham Dinner with all the

 trimmings! Come out for a time of fellowship prior to class!

 6:30 SENIOR CHOIR will meet.

 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

 GEMS AWARDS CEREMONY ~ Our girls have had a great

 year and will celebrate with an Awards Ceremony! All

 family and friends are invited to attend the ceremony! 

 VICTORS meet in the Fellowship Hall

 ADULTS –Come and join the discussion of “The Story”.

5th SUNDAY IN LENT

GEMS SUNDAY

 

NEXT SUNDAY we will celebrate with our GEMS and leaders who will 

 take part in our morning service. Pastor Rick will lead our service

 and share the message “The Trials of a King” from The Story. In

 preparation read Chapter 12. 

 

OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of March is designated for

 the GEMS Organization. 

 

6:00 PM – We will continue the Lenten Pulpit Exchange with 

 Rev. Mark Bergsma, Pastor of Unity Reformed Church, leading our

 service and sharing the message.

 

PRAYERS & PRAISE

 

HEALTH CONCERNS – Keep Pastor George Grevenstuk in your

 prayers as he will undergo bypass surgery on Friday. For all other

 prayer requests and praise reports, see the Prayers & Praise Line in

 your bulletin today.

 

OUR MISSION TEAM is returning from Chiapas today! They are

 expected to arrive here late this afternoon. Please keep them in your

 prayers as they travel today.

 commitment each time you sign up.
 

DISCOVERY KIDZ FLOWER SALE continues today! Order forms

 are available on the narthex table. Flowers will be available on Easter

 Sunday! Choose between Gerber Daisy, Lily, or Tulips! Orders due

 March 25.

 HUNT. Once again we need your help. Candy and lots of it is

 needed to fill our 1000 + eggs. Please drop your individually
 wrapped candy
donations off at the Youth desk downstairs. We will

 need volunteers the day of the event to spread eggs around and help

 at the prize tables. If you are able to help, please see Mrs. Heather or

 sign up in the narthex.

 Church!

 

Sunday, April 22 - DINNER will be served in appreciation for all the

 prayerful support of our Mission team following the morning

 service. The team will share some of their experiences during the

 service that day and also at the dinner. A “free” Beef Roast Dinner

 with all the delicious trimmings will be served! Please plan to join us!

  • We pray for Janet Yonkers today. May she feel your presence surrounding her. 
  • We pray for all those who are in need today in some way or another.
