11:20 – 12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL – There are classes available for all
ages three years old and upward. A nursery is available for those
children under the age of three.

Laugh Your Way To A Better Marriage
– Class meets in the Chapel.
A NEW MEMBERS CLASS will begin today. This class will run for 6
weeks during the Sunday School hour. If you would like to learn
more about having a relationship with Jesus and His church or
would like to make Profession of Faith, this class will enable you, but
not obligate you to do so. Meet in Pastor Rick’s office.
CHILDREN’S BULLETINS – We are trying something new with the
Children’s Bulletins starting this week. There will be just one bulletin
along with a coordinating coloring page. They will be placed in a
basket on the narthex table. Kids…pick one up before going into the
6:00 PM – THE ORDINATION SERVICE for SHAWN GERBERS will take
place in our Sanctuary. The congregation is invited to come and be a
part of this event! Refreshments will be served following the service.
PRAYERS & PRAISE
HEALTH CONCERNS – Bob Stadt will have additional surgery on his
knee on Wednesday, March 4. Lynda Ver Merris’ surgery has been
rescheduled for Tuesday, March 10. See the Prayers & Praise Line
for all prayer concerns & praise reports this week.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! To all of you who gave
donations for our baked goods during February. We raised $367.89
from this project to put toward the mission trip!

NEXT SUNDAY morning Pastor Rick will continue the series GOD’S ROAD
SIGNS with the message NO RIGHT TURN from Isaiah 30:21, Romans
8:14, John 16:7-10.
6:00 PM – We will begin our Lenten Pulpit Exchange with other area
Pastors. Next Sunday, Rev. Bruce Osbeck, Pastor of Faith Reformed,
will be with us and share the message. Pastor Rick will be preaching

Tuesday, March 10, 7:00 pm THE MISSION/OUTREACH TEAM will meet.
Sunday, March 15 - FELLOWSHIP DINNER! Remember to sign up your
whole family by filling in and tearing off the bottom section of the
insert in today’s bulletin. There will be no Sunday School that day so
you all can eat dinner immediately following the worship service.
Sign ups are due March 8!
Saturday, March 28 - THE FELLOWSHIP TEAM is hosting a
DINNER/BOWLING night! First we will have dinner at Salvatores
(654 Stocking) then bowling at Clique Lanes. Sign up in the narthex!

LENT FOOD DRIVE – The need for food and personal hygiene as well as
cleaning supplies is HUGE in our area due to the cut backs in income
and loss of jobs in the area. Even though many of us are affected in
some way, God calls us to reach out as we are able. So, the Mission
Outreach Team is promoting the Lent Food Drive here at Grace from
March 1 – April 12. Please prayerfully consider helping with this
MISSION TRIP TO NEW ORLEANS – There are still two or three spots left,
so if you want to be a part of this exciting work project, sign up in the
narthex or contact Shari. We will leave Friday, April 17 and return
Saturday, April 25. The cost per person will be under $100, after we
get all our fundraisers completed. See the Galaxy for more details.
COLLECTION OF BOOKS – We have received a request from the Deacon
Center that Forgotten Man Ministries is in need of paperback
religious books focusing primarily on Christian living, marriage,
parenting, and self help. The jail library is normally stocked with
these books and they are distributed weekly throughout the facility by
Chaplains. If you have books that you have already read and would
like to donate to inmates in the Kent County Jail, please deposit them
in the box in the narthex. (This is a great way to clean out your
bookshelves and closets!)
COMPUTER FUNDAMENTALS CLASS – The Family Network of Wyoming
invites 30 people to participate in this class. Classes will be held at
St. John Vianney Catholic School, 4101 Clyde Park in Wyoming from
7:00 – 8:30 pm on Thursday evenings, March 26, April 2, 16, and 23.
This class is intended for persons with little or no computer
experience but have a real interest in learning more about computer
fundamentals. The four sessions will include Word Processing,
Internet, E-Mail, and Digital Pictures and other topics of interest to
participants. For more detailed information and registration, contact
Glen Walstra at 616-808-9113. Registration fee for the four classes is
only $20.00 total per person. The deadline for registration is Friday,
