WE WELCOME Rev. Jack Doorlag to our service today.  We thank you

 for coming and sharing with us this morning.  We also thank Pastor

 George Grevenstuk for leading our service and sharing the message

 this evening.


TODAY we celebrate with our GEMS!  The girls will be part of the

 worship service and tell us about their theme this year “Bring the

 Message”.  Our SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of March is

 designated for the GEMS Organization and will be received today.


9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET.  All children ages 3

 years – 5th Grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 


ELDERS INVITATION If you have questions, concerns, joys, or

 prayer needs that you would like to share, please see the Pastor or

 an Elder today.  Elders will be greeting at the doors as you leave the

 sanctuary this morning and they are also listed on the back of your

 bulletin.  You may also make a notation on the Fellowship Register.


A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.



 Consistory Room following the morning service today.  This class

 covers various subject matter pertaining to our Christian walk. 




HEALTH CONCERNS –  Mary Mc Alary is now at Marywood Health

 Center (111 Lakeside Dr. NE, Grand Rapids, 49503) for Rehab

 following hip replacement surgery. For all Prayer Requests and

 Praise Reports, see the Prayer Line in your bulletin today.


CONSISTORY UPDATES – At the last meeting of the Elders, they

 were excited to receive upon Confession of Faith:  Rebekah Kubiak,

 Abby Kubiak, Mary Kubiak, Reece Wigent, and Brielle Wigent. 

 They will be received publically on April 26.


IN APPRECIATION – Thank you to my Grace family for all the

 cards, prayers, dinners, and support during my surgery and

 recovery! ~Sandy Gort





 3:15 – 5:15 PM THE CROSSING (Club 3:16) for youth in

 Grades 5 & 6 will meet. 



 3:45 – 5:45 or 8:00 PM THE CROSSING (Club 3:16) for

 youth in Grades 3 & 4 will meet.


This will be the last week for regular Wednesday night classes! 

 6:00 PM FELLOWSHIP DINNER – Come out and enjoy a time

 of fellowship prior to the evenings classes.

 grades K – 8th.

Easter Activities at Grace

 Celebrate our Risen Christ on Easter Morning!


Sunday, March 29 – Palm Sunday

 10:00 AM  Pastor Rick will share the message “David the Fugitive”

 as we continue the “Bible in a Year” study.  

 The Senior Choir will present their Easter Cantata.

 6:00 PM  A Special Event at Grace! 

 John – His Story

 This is a special one hour presentation by the Master Arts Theatre.

Thursday, April 2 – Maundy Thursday

 7:00 PM A service of Communion and Remembrance will be held.


Saturday, April 4 – Annual Easter Egg Hunt!  

 10:00 AM The kids will love to come and hunt for eggs!  There will

 be singing, prizes, and lots of fun!  Bring your kids, your

 neighbor kids, grandkids! 


Sunday, April 5 – Easter Celebration

 10:00 AM  Come join in singing praises to our Risen Lord! 

 Our Easter Offering is designated for the Grace Building Fund. 

 No Discovery Kidz on Easter.  Children will sit with their parents in

 the sanctuary!





 regular class/dinner night at Grace will be March 25th. April 1st

 will be our celebration night and EVERYONE is invited to

 celebrate another great year with us. We are heading to the 3 Mile 

 Project. Festivities will begin at 5:30 pm with a pizza dinner.  We

 have the whole building to ourselves till 8:30pm.  Ms. Heather will be

 taking the vans for those who cannot be with their children for the

 evening.  Please see her if you need your child transported.  What is

 the 3 Mile Project? A 34,000 square foot former warehouse that now

 contains sports courts, theaters, a skate park,  video games, table

 games, and a café.  Where is it located?  3050 Walkent Dr. NW,

 Grand Rapids, 49544. Questions? See Ms. Heather

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for the Easter Egg Hunt!! Volunteer sign-up

 sheets are now in the narthex. This is a HUGE outreach event for us.

 Will you please be a blessing on Saturday April 4th?  Sign up today!

 * Candy donations needed as well to fill our eggs. Individually

 wrapped/peanut free candy.  Remember we are putting them in the

 eggs so small is great!!

GARDENER NEEDED – Would you be interested in helping take care

 of the church gardens?  See John Sawyer!


DONUTS!! Y-life will be selling Krispy Crème donuts before and after

 The service on March 29th! Want a dozen to take home with you? See

 one of our youth kids in the narthex to order yours. Orders are due

 TODAY!  This is a fundraiser for our upcoming retreat.


DISCOVERY KIDZ sign-up sheets for April, May & June rotations are

ANNUAL LENTEN BREAKFAST – The women of Beverly

 Reformed Church (2141 Porter Street, Wyoming) invite you to their

 Lenten Breakfast on Wednesday, April 1 at 9:30 am.  The program

 will feature Chris & Amber Knobloch.  They will present a Lenten

 devotional concert that captures the nature of the season moving

 closer to the celebration of Easter.  A free-will offering will be

 received for the Pregnancy Resource Center in Wyoming.  Please

 RSVP by calling Wilma (534-9564 or Shirley (532-7672) by March

 29.  Flyers are on the narthex table.


WORLD MISSION BANKS - How is everyone doing on filling up

 their coin banks?  Donations will be used to send the gospel to those

 who have never heard through the use of “The Treasure”.  This is an

 audio Bible that is solar powered and available in different languages. 

 If you have filled your bank and would like to start another, please

 pick one up from the narthex table!  We will continue this collection

 through Pentecost.

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank God today our GEMS and their leaders.  We are so thankful for this group of girls! 
  • We are so thankful today for our Discovery Kidz.  We pray that they will have a meaningful worship time together. 
  • We pray today for those who have recently lost loved ones.  We remember Effie Bolt in our prayers. 
  • Also we pray for the family of Tena Vande Zande who passed away on Friday, March 13.  (If you would like to send a card to Bob Vande Zande, his address is: Pilgrim Manor, 2000 Leonard St NE, Grand Rapids, 49505) Visitation is today from 2-4 & Monday from 10-11 am followed by the service at 11:00 am at Matthysse-Kuiper DeGraff Funeral Home in Grandville.
  • We thank and praise God for the life and witness of Rev. Roger Hendricks, our former Visitation Pastor, who passed away Monday, March 16 at the age of 89.  Services were held on Friday at Hope Reformed Church.
  • Remember Mary Mc Alary, Sandy Gort, Lorie Norden, and Devin Hendges following recent surgeries.
  • Remember Wes Dekker’s sister, Janet, in your prayers.  She has recently been diagnosed with cancer.
  • We pray for Pastor George today as he leads Connections.  We pray for all the people that attend.
  • Continue to keep Lola De Young and her parents, Matt & Lindsey, in your prayers. 
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs. Tena DeVink, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mr. Mac Mc Alary, Mrs. Ruth Ver Merris.
