THE SACRAMENT OF INFANT BAPTISM will be administered today to

Children ages 3 & 4 meet in Fellowship Hall with
Worship Leaders Sandy Farris and Brad Beadle.
Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room with
Worship Leaders Heather Dood and Amy Grimm.
THE SPECIAL OFFERING today and the end of the month, March 30, is
designated for Reformed Church World Service. We are
participating the campaign of RCWS called “ONE GREAT HOUR OF
SHARING”. Funds collected are used to assist areas around the
globe in a time of crisis or disaster. Remember that as you support
RCSW, you are indirectly supporting the persons from our church
who are going to Mobile, Alabama to build homes with Habitat for
Humanity for Hurricane victims (the week of April 20). If you have
picked up a bank from the table in the narthex, please turn it in by
March 30, the last day of the special offering.
A SPECIAL THANK YOU to Christina Kleymeer, Aaron Hettinga, and our
Choir and Praise Team for their part in our Easter Celebration today!

HEALTH CONCERNS – Jim Friar underwent surgery in Detroit on
Thursday. He was expected to be able to return to his home
yesterday. Jan Higley will undergo surgery on Tuesday at Blodgett
Hospital. See the Prayers & Praise Line for all the praise reports
and prayer concerns.

NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will continue the series “Christ Like
Values” with the message “Hope: Longing for Something
More” from Romans 5:1-5.
ATTENTION PARENTS OF HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH – Ever wonder what’s
gong on in Youth Group? Do the young people tell you what
happened or what they learned at the meetings? Do you have
feedback or input? Well here’s your chance to meet with Youth
Director Darrell and sound off. This is intended to inform parents of
what has been going on in youth group and allow parents to provide
feedback and insights into their children. This meeting is scheduled
for Sunday, April 6 during the Sunday School Hour in the Choir
room. Questions? See Darrell.
ELDERS & DEACONS – The next scheduled meeting will take place on
Monday, April 7. Elders at 6:30 pm and Consistory at 7:30 pm.
COME ONE, COME ALL! Grace, along with the Boy Scouts, is organizing
the ANNUAL SPRING CLEAN UP of the church grounds April 26, 2008.
Be sure to wear gloves and work clothes for this day of service. We
will begin at 9 am and go until everything is done! See John Sawyer
for questions (534-0528).
ATTENTION PARENTS OF SUNDAY SCHOOL CHILDREN – All parents or
older siblings are expected to pick up their children/siblings after
Sunday School. Let’s be considerate of our hard working teachers
after classes are over. Thanks for your corporation in this matter.
BREAST CANCER FUNDRAISERS
Thursday, March 27th at Steak & Shake on Clyde Park & 54th Street
from 4-10 pm. 20% of sales during this time will be donated to the
Breast Cancer 3 Day (supporting Susan G. Komen for the Cure and
the National Philanthropic Trust). Please see Christy Kleymeer for
details and a flyer about the event.
Saturday, April 19 at Grace from 9am – 4pm there will be a Crop for
the Cure! Come Scrapbook or craft with your friends and family and
support a good cause. Scrappers, stampers, knitters, and crafters of
all sorts are welcome! Cost is $25.00 per person or $20.00 per
person for groups of 4 or more. Your admission includes breakfast,
snacks, drinks, and lunch! All proceed go to the Breast Cancer 3
Day. Space is limited and filling up fast so RSVP to Deb or Christy
Kleymeer @ 530-4964 today!
“SCHOOL KITS” Service Project for children in impoverished schools,
refugee camps, and other difficult settings in the world. You can help
by sewing cloth school bags and purchasing the specific needed
school items. See the yellow flyer on the table in the narthex for
exact details. This is a several month project, so be on the look out
