9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET. All children ages 3

 years – 5th Grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 

 

THANK YOU to our Senior Choir and everyone who helped make the

 Easter Cantata a special part of our Easter Celebrations. A special

 thank you to our Choir Director, Paul Kerkstra.

 

THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL GUIDE CLASS will meet in

 the Consistory Room following the morning service today. 

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George and Connections.

 

Y-LIFE will be heading to Winter Jam right after church this morning!

 They will be returning at 10:30 pm. 

 

6:00 PM A COMBINED SERVICE will be held tonight at Unity

 Reformed Church, 4450 Poinsettia, Kentwood, as we wrap up the

 Lenten Pulpit Exchange. 

 

PRAYERS & PRAISE

 

HEALTH CONCERNS – Keith Baker’s surgery went well. He

 continues at the Meijer Heart Center. Barb Engels underwent

 knee surgery on Wednesday and is now home recovering. Please pray

 for Tymie Boeve who fell at roller skating on Wednesday and broke

 her right wrist. This will put her out of commission for 6 – 8 weeks.

IN APPRECIATION – I’d like to thank the church community for

 overwhelming me with birthday cards. That really made for a

 special birthday and it made us feel very welcomed into this new

 Retirees gather for coffee and cookies and neighborly

 for young adults will meet. CHILDCARE IS PROVIDED!

 11:00 AM ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT! The kids will love

 to come and hunt for eggs! There will be singing, prizes,

 and lots of fun! Bring your kids, your neighbor kids,

 grandkids! 

 

NEXT SUNDAY, MARCH 31, 2013

 

10:00 AM Easter Celebration

 Come join in singing praises to our Risen Lord! 

 

 Our Easter Offering is designated for “One Hour of Sharing” a

 ministry of Reformed Church World Service. RCA congregations

 together raise money that allow (RCWS) to make a difference and

 fight hunger in their own communities. No Discovery Kidz on

 Easter. Children will sit with their parents in the sanctuary!

  • We thank God today for the gift of music. We are thankful for our Senior Choir and director, Paul Kerkstra.
  • We pray today for Keith Baker. We thank and praise God today for His healing powers and love for us!
  • Remember Barb Engels in your prayers this week as she begins the healing process following knee surgery.
  • Keep Tymie in your prayers as she prepares to have her wrist set on Wednesday.
  • We pray for those making plans for the Mission Trip to Stumpy Point, NC to work on hurricane ravaged homes. 
  • We pray for Heather as she gears up for the busy time of preparing for Vacation Bible School. 
  • Please continue to keep Rowin Mulder’s brother and family in your prayers. Please pray that his brother will acknowledge and accept the help that he needs.
