CHILDREN & WORSHIP
Children ages 3 & 4 meet in Fellowship Hall with Worship
Leader Darrell Delaney. Children K–2nd Grade meet in the
Choir Room with Worship Leader Heather Dood.
THIS MORNING we welcome Ben Ingebretson, Regional Multiplication
Consultant, to our service. Following the service there will be a
“Town Hall” style question & answer session. No Adult Sunday
School classes will be held. Children’s classes will be held as usual.
OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of March is designated for the
GIDEONS. This offering will be received today.
SUNDAYS AT SIX – Join us tonight as we continue the Lenten Pulpit
Exchange. Rev. El Zwart, Pastor at Beverly Reformed Church, will
lead our service and share the message. Pastor Rick will be
preaching at Unity Reformed.
PRAYERS & PRAISE
HEALTH CONCERNS – Joan Patterson is now at home. Marge Veldheer
is home after undergoing surgery on her foot Wednesday. See the
Prayers & Praise Line for all prayer concerns & praise reports.
OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHIES are extended to Curt & Judy, Autum and
Brad Beadle upon the sudden death of their father and grandfather,
Chester Bruin on Wednesday, March 25. Visitation & Service
schedule is pending at this time.

6:30 – 7:30 SENIOR CHOIR PRACTICE
6:45 – 8:15 PM CADETS will meet. This will be your last meeting for

3:30 – 5:30 PM CLUB 3:16 for Grades 3-5 will meet.
4:30 PM PRAYER GROUP meets in Pastor Rick’s office. We invite
YOU to join us. You do not have to pray out loud. Just come!
7:00 PM THURSDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY GROUP will meet at the
NEXT WEEK – APRIL 5, 2009
NEXT SUNDAY morning our Senior Choir will present the Cantata “ONCE
UPON A TREE”. Pastor Rick will share the message. CHILDREN who
want to participate in the “palm waving” at the beginning of the
service, meet in the narthex at 9:50 am.
6:00 PM – JOINT EVENING SERVICE – To conclude our Lenten Pulpit
Exchange, we will meet together at Beverly Reformed Church.
CHILDREN & WORSHIP VOLUNTEERS – There will be a meeting on
Sunday, April 19 at 9:30 am for all leaders and helpers. Please bring
along your calendars as we will be setting the summer C & W
schedule. If you are not able to be at the meeting, please contact
Heather Dood (534-1794) with the dates that you will be available.
CLUB 3:16 VOLUNTEERS – There will be a meeting on Sunday, April 19
following Sunday School for all Club 3:16 volunteers. Please meet at
the Crossing. Questions…see Kia Delaney.
ELDERS & DEACONS – The next meeting will be on Monday, April 6.
Elders will meet at 6:30 pm and Consistory at 7:30 pm.
“CROCODILE DOCK” VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL is coming June 8 – 12
from 6:30 – 9:00 pm! CREW LEADERS are needed to lead the
children around to the various stations like Bible drama, crafts,
games, and Chadder’s Adventure. YOU will be the key person who
interacts directly with the children each day! The great part is that
everything is provided for you and you do not need to do extra study
each night. There is a sign up sheet in the narthex, or talk to Shari!
MISSION WORK TRIP TO NEW ORLEANS April 17 – 25. Many of you
signed up to be our Personal Prayer Partners already, but we could
always use more…plus we added one more person, Les VanWyk.
Check out the sign up on the table in the narthex.
LENT FOOD DRIVE – The need for food and personal hygiene as well as
cleaning supplies is HUGE in our area. The Mission Outreach Team
is promoting the Lent Food Drive here at Grace through April 12.
Please consider helping with this project.

CHURCH PLANT PRAYER FOCUS
Watch for these weekly prayer updates regarding the
possibility of a new church start.
Pray that the Town Meeting today will go well and answer
many questions that are on the hearts of our congregation.

• New opportunities to serve
• The continuing financial support of this church
• His presence in our daily lives
• Our Mission Trip Team as they prepare for the New Orleans project
• Those looking for work in this tough job market
• Carol Hoekstra, our missionary, who is experiencing some rejection
following a liver transplant
• Our summer VBS Crocodile Dock as planning is underway
• Those who have recently been hospitalized or who are in various stages
of recovery/healing: Joan Patterson, Lynda Ver Merris, Marjean
