A very special one hour presentation by the Master Arts Theatre.

Come…experience the seven extraordinary miracles from the book  of John as told to ordinary people who witnessed them.

 Our sister churches will join us here at Grace tonight.  Invite a friend

TODAY AT GRACE

 

9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET.  All children ages 3

 years – 5th Grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 

 

THANK YOU to our Senior Choir and all those who helped make the

 Easter Cantata a special part of our Easter Celebration.  A very

 special thank you to our Choir Director, Paul Kerkstra. 

 

ELDERS INVITATION If you have questions, concerns, joys, or

 prayer needs that you would like to share, please see the Pastor or

 an Elder today.  Elders will be greeting at the doors as you leave the

 sanctuary this morning and they are also listed on the back of your

 bulletin.  You may also make a notation on the Fellowship Register.

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.

 

THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS will meet in the

 Consistory Room following the morning service today.  This class

 covers various subject matter pertaining to our Christian walk. 

 

PRAYERS & PRAISE

 

HEALTH CONCERNS –  Neil Klein was at Blodgett Hospital for

 therapy following a stroke.  He is doing well and was expected to

 come home this weekend.  Karen Ver Hulst returned home on

 Tuesday.  Mary Mc Alary returned to her home (2871 Green Meadow

 Dr. #2, Jenison, 49428) following hip replacement surgery. 

 For all other Prayer Requests and Praise Reports, see the Prayer Line

 in your bulletin today.

 

IN APPRECIATION – Following my surgery and time at Marywood

 Health Center, I returned home Wednesday for continued

 rehabilitation therapy.  As this is another difficult time in our lives

 for Mac and me, we covet your prayers.  Visits to Mac at Vista

 Springs will be appreciated as I am confined at home.

 As Wednesday nights come to a close, I want to thank everyone who

 helped by donating desserts or any kind of food and all the help in

 the past 7 months.  Special thanks to Joan Patterson, Joan Emaus,

 Arlene Dekker, and Louise Grimm for all your special help.  Could

 Year End Celebration Party!

 A family event to be held at the 3 Mile Project, 3050 Walkent

 Dr. NW, Walker.  Everyone is to meet there!  A PIZZA

 SUPPER will be served at 5:45 pm.  If your child wants to go,

 but you can’t attend, see Ms. Heather. 

 

THURSDAY, APRIL 2 – Maundy Thursday

 7:00 PM A service of Communion and Remembrance

 will be held. Pastor Rick will share the

 message: “Building a House”. 

 

SATURDAY, APRIL 4 – Annual Easter Egg Hunt!  

 10:00 AM The kids will love to come and hunt for 

 eggs!  There will be singing, prizes, and lots of fun! 

 Bring your kids, your neighbor kids, grandkids.

 

SUNDAY, APRIL 5  Easter Celebration

 10:00 AM Come join in singing praises to  our Risen Lord! 

 Our Easter Offering is designated for the Grace Building Fund.  

 No Discovery Kidz on Easter.  Children will sit with their

 parents in the sanctuary.

 

MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

HELP NEEDED FOR CHURCH SPRING CLEAN UP!  Clean up

 day will be May 2, 9:00 am.  All help greatly appreciated!

 

GARDENER NEEDED – Would you be interested in helping take care

 of the church gardens?  See John Sawyer!

 

WORLD MISSION BANKS - How is everyone doing on filling up

 their coin banks?  Donations will be used to send the gospel to those

 who have never heard through the use of “The Treasure”.  This is an

 audio Bible that is solar powered and available in different languages. 

 If you have filled your bank and would like to start another, please

 pick one up from the narthex table!  We will continue this collection

 through Pentecost.

 

THURSDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY GROUP will meet on April 9

 in the Consistory Room.

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank and praise God today for the gift of music.  We are thankful for our Senior Choir and Director, Paul Kerkstra.
  • We pray today for our GEMS who were on retreat at Cran Hill Ranch.  We pray for safe travels as they return this morning.  We thank God for these girls and their leaders.
  • We are so thankful today for our Discovery Kidz.  We pray that they will have a meaningful worship time together. 
  • Please be in prayer for the group from Grace preparing to go on a Mission Trip to Jackson County Ministries in Annville, KY– April 19-25. 
  • We pray today for those who have recently lost loved ones. 
  • Remember Mary Mc Alary and Lorie Norden, recovering and undergoing rehab following surgery.
  • We pray for healing and strength for Neil Klein and Karen Ver Hulst.
  • Remember Wes Dekker’s sister, Janet, in your prayers.  She has recently been diagnosed with cancer.
  • We pray for Pastor George today as he leads Connections.  We pray for all the people that attend.
  • Continue to keep Lola De Young and her parents, Matt & Lindsey, in your prayers. 
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs. Tena DeVink, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mr. Mac Mc Alary, Mrs. Ruth Ver Merris.
  • As a community of churches in Wyoming, we want to encourage each other and lift one another up in prayer.  Please remember to pray for these churches during the upcoming month.
