SPECIAL OFFERING - We will have a special offering to benefit Matt
& Lyndsey De Young this morning. Matt & Lyndsey returned very
unexpectedly from Tanzania and their young daughter, Lola, has
been diagnosed with Leukemia.

“Operation Love Lola” is taking place. Copies of an insert
with all the details are on the narthex table. If you have any

ELDERS INVITATION - If you have questions, concerns, joys, or

PRAYERS & PRAISE
HEALTH CONCERNS – Juel Grevenstuk returned to her home
and is doing well following hip replacement surgery. See the Prayer
and Praise Line for all the other prayer requests and praise reports.
IN APPRECIATION – Thank you for the cards sent to me, and to
Pastor Rick for his call. Your kindness and thoughtfulness is

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL – Mark your calendar … VBS will be
the week of June 13!!
UPDATE ON OUR ‘KAREN’ REFUGEE FAMILY:
As a church we will continue to support Jae and Julia as they get
accustomed to our country. Please sign up in the narthex if you are
willing to help transport them to church and appointments that come
up. If anyone could assist with friendship/visitation or do English
tutoring (this could be as simple as reading picture books to Julia)
even if it is on a limited basis, sign up or talk to Shari.
FAMILY NETWORK OF WYOMING CELEBRATION & FUND
RAISING DINNER! -- Thursday, May 5, 2011 – Punch at 6 PM &
dinner at 6:30 PM. Everyone is invited to this special dinner where
we will celebrate seven years of service to families in need in the
Wyoming & Grandville communities. The dinner itself is free but you
will be encouraged to give a monetary gift to FNOW. Included in the
evening will be heart warming stories of those who have been helped
by FNOW and some gifts will be given out by drawing names of those
in attendance (such as overnight lodging at Amway, a night at the
Marriott Courtyard, a night at the new Hyatt Place, a night at The
Shack near White Cloud, and a variety of other items). Please
contact Shari and she will put your reservation in to sit at the one or
two tables that Grace hopes to fill!
TOILET PAPER DRIVE – Thank you to everyone who so generously
donated to this cause! There is always a need so anytime you want
to donate, please just bring it to the church kitchen and we will be
sure it gets to Family Network.

Church Plant Prayer Focus
Pray for God’s clear leading in this process.

Dad's back to feel better after surgery.
Grandpa's back to feel better.
Our family not to lose our house.
Our cousin's baby girl is sick.
(A family member's) hip to heal.
Mom to get over the flu and be able to breathe better.
My sister's baby who is still in the hospital since February 1.
(A sibling) who is receiving therapy that the therapy works.
Me to not be afraid of someone breaking into our house anymore so I won't have to sleep with a stick in my bed.
My grandma's surgery on her leg to make her better.
My mom who is struggling with immigration issues.
Numbness in Mr. John’s hands and legs goes away.
Mrs. Arlene’s brother gets past his cancer treatments.
Our substitute teacher’s nephew gets better.
Isaiah is able to control his pain.

Please be in prayer for Wesley Borkowski ~ one of his friends recently committed suicide.
We thank and praise God for this loving and giving congregation.
We remember in prayer the following family or friends of our members that are ill or receiving treatments: Rick Frontjes, brother of Sue Stuk, who has begun the isolation period of his thyroid cancer treatment; Marvin Witveliet, brother of Arlene Dekker, who is beginning chemo for esophageal cancer; Amee Bekkering, daughter of Dick and Ruth Locke receiving treatments for cancer; Larry VerMerris, son of Ruth Vermerris diagnosed with pancreatic cancer; Linda Hoezee, daughter-in-law of Ann Hoezee who is undergoing chemotherapy.
Keep these friends and family serving in the military in your prayers: Amie Pierce, Doug Desmarais, Frank Senko, Dave Vander Berg.
Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs Tena DeVink, Mrs Margaret Peterson, Mrs Miriam Schrotenboer, Mrs Anne Hoezee, Mrs Janet Yonkers.
