LENT FOOD DRIVE – The need for food and personal hygiene as well as
cleaning supplies is HUGE in our area due to the cut backs in income
and loss of jobs in the area. Even though many of us are affected in
some way, God calls us to reach out as we are able. So, the Mission
Outreach Team is promoting the Lent Food Drive here at Grace from
March 1 – April 12. Please prayerfully consider helping with this

MISSION TRIP TO NEW ORLEANS – There are still two or three spots left,
so if you want to be a part of this exciting work project, sign up in the
narthex or contact Shari. We will leave Friday, April 17 and return
Saturday, April 25. The cost per person will be under $100, after we
get all our fundraisers completed. See the Galaxy for more details.

COLLECTION OF BOOKS – We have received a request from the Deacon
Center that Forgotten Man Ministries is in need of paperback
religious books focusing primarily on Christian living, marriage,
parenting, and self help. The jail library is normally stocked with
these books and they are distributed weekly throughout the facility by
Chaplains. If you have books that you have already read and would
like to donate to inmates in the Kent County Jail, please deposit them
in the box in the narthex. (This is a great way to clean out your
bookshelves and closets!)

OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of March is designated for the
GIDEONS. This offering will be received on March 29th.
