THIS MORNING Pastor Rick will begin a new series of messages. See the

CHILDREN & WORSHIP
Children ages 3 & 4 meet in Fellowship Hall with
Worship Leaders Erika Wigent and Danielle Vining.
Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room with
Worship Leaders Lynda Ver Merris & Pat Ter Beek.

11:20 AM–12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL – There are classes available for
all ages three years old and upward. A nursery is available for those
children under the age of three.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room. Join
them for lively discussions relating to our Christian walk.
“Faith in the Cinema” – We will view “Leap of Faith” staring Steve
Martin and Debra Winger. This is set in Kansas in the 1990’s and
deals with the nature of the faith of a traveling evangelist and his
troupe. There are some wonderful surprises in this story.
“Daniel – Spiritual Living in a Secular World” – Meet in Kia’s office.

2:00 PM INDEED HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP will meet at Biggby Coffee
on 28th Street. Questions…see Darrell.

SUNDAYS AT SIX - Pastor Rick will continue the study entitled “From the
Old to the New to You” where we discover Christ in the Old
Testament and in our lives as well.

NEXT SUNDAY those who went on the Mission Work Trip to Mobile will
share their experiences with us. Pastor Rick will continue the series
“When God Comes to Church” with the message is “We Serve
Enthusiastically!

SUNDAY SCHOOL - Next Sunday will be the last day of SUNDAY SCHOOL
CLASSES for the summer months.

 MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

2008 GRADUATES – All High School and College Graduates please
contact Sandy Gort (667-9763). She is collecting information for the
next Galaxy which will be distributed on June 1 (Graduation Sunday).

PRAYER WALKS in the neighborhood of Grace are taking place on
Monday evenings, Tuesday morning, Wednesday evening, and
Saturday morning once a month (on the week prior to and including
the 3rd Saturday). More walkers are welcome. Sign up on the form in
the narthex.

POWER LAB VBS June 9 - 13! VOLUNTEER SIGN UP’S ARE NOW TAKING
PLACE! Can you help as a Crew Leader, Crafts, Set Up, Registration,
Games, Drama …there is a spot for everyone! Check out the list of
volunteer needs on the narthex table and find something that fits for

CREW LEADERS! There will be a Crew Leader meeting on Sunday June 1
following the morning worship service.

FOOD DONATIONS NEEDED for VBS – This year as in years past we are
asking for donations for the VBS snack. On the narthex table is a list
of items needed. Sign up if you can help out with a donation!

KITCHEN CLEANING! Wednesday, June 18 – 9AM - ? Come out and help
clean our church kitchen. (We’ll go out to lunch afterwards!) Anyone
willing to help contact (Tymie 531-5700).

THE 202nd RCA GENERAL SYNOD will be held on the campus of Hope
College June 4-10, 2008. They are looking for a variety of volunteers
to serve their transportation needs. Volunteers are needed to
transport delegates to and from the airport, and also Greeters for the
information tables at the airport. If you can help, contact Juel
Grevenstuk at 616-698-7071 ext. 216 or by email jgrevenstuk@rca.org.

CHECK OUT CAMP GENEVA! Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 18,
2008. Camp Geneva will host an open house on that afternoon from
2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Joining us with a live broadcast will be JQ 99.3
FM! We'll have games for younger children, the pool will be open,
and you can explore the facilities and grounds before camp starts. It's
a great chance to answer questions about camp, for new campers to
get comfortable before they arrive, and for returning campers to see
