MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

ONE WYOMING 1 ON 1 - Wyoming leaders have collaborated to set

a God-sized goal to provide 1,100 of our city students with a mentor

this fall, and that 400 of these mentors will come from our churches.

This is a remarkable open door for the church to impact a city, by

pouring into the lives of the next generation. This Wyoming-wide

mentoring initiative is kicking off this coming Wednesday

at the Godwin Heights auditorium, 7-8:30 PM. A brochure is

available on the narthex table for additional information.

JACKSON COUNTY MINISTRIES has been awarded a $200,000

Cleanup Grant for hazardous substances! EPA has selected the

Annville Institute/Jackson County Ministries for a brownfields

cleanup grant. Hazardous substances grant funds will be used to

clean up the Lincoln Hall Rehabilitation Project site at 192 Campus

Drive in Annville. Lincoln Hall was built in 1909 and operated as a

school until the late 1970s. Since then, a small portion of the building

has been used for storage, weddings, artisan events, and early

education classes. A large portion of the building cannot be used

because it is contaminated with inorganic contaminants and heavy

metals. Grant funds also will be used for community involvement
