TODAY AT GRACE
 
 CHILDREN IN WORSHIP
 Children ages 4 – 2nd grade meet in the Fellowship
 Hall today for Children In Worship.  Children are
 dismissed during the hymn prior to the message.
 
11:30 – 12:10 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL - There are classes available for
 all ages three years old and upward.  PARENTS are invited to join in
 the nursery for a time of fellowship with one another while the kids
 are in Sunday School!  Coffee and cold drinks will be provided!
 ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
 Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room. 
 Grace and the Millennium – Meet in the chapel with Brad Class.
 The Sunday Prayer Group will meet in the Sanctuary.
 
PRAYERS & PRAISE
 
HEALTH CONCERNS – Barb Engels is a patient at Butterworth Hospital. 
 Virginia Blakeslee returned to Butterworth Hospital on Thursday. 
 David Hoezee underwent surgery at Mayo Clinic on Friday.  Millie
 Nevins has returned to her home.  See the Prayers & Praise Line
 inserted in your bulletin today for the other prayer concerns and
 praise reports of the Grace family.
 
CONGRATULATIONS are extended to Doug & Amy Grimm upon the birth
 of a son, Logan Riley Grimm, born Saturday, May 6thWe thank God
 for this precious gift of life and pray for His blessing on your family!
 
STUDENT SPOTLIGHT!  Today we want to spotlight Dan Stuk II.Dan is a student at Grand Valley State University.  He is seeking a degree in Marketing/Management.  Currently he is working for the Varnum Law Firm and is also a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT for the City of Grandville.  You can send notes of encouragement to Dan at 4497 Blackfoot Dr., Grandville 49418 or email dstuk02@yahoo.com
 
PLEASE KEEP SHAWN GERBERS in your prayers as he has left this week to
 spend the summer at the Grand Canyon working with the 
 organization A Christian Ministry in the National Parks.  You can

 Grand Canyon, AZ 86023. 
 
IN APPRECIATION – Thank you to the congregation for the cards, 
 prayers, visits;  the Sunshine Committee for the meals and visits. 
 We really appreciate all the love and concern.  I am patiently
 awaiting the unfolding of God’s will concerning my future treatment

 A special thank you to the Wednesday Morning Bible Study Group
 (Fred & Willie Hiemstra, Bill & Ruth Tacoma, Roger & Phyllis
 Vander Sloot, Bob & Lynda Ver Merris, Neal & Judy Klein, Jim &
 Sally Herrema, Brad & Gracia Class, Jim Bosma, Luke Nordlund)
 who have been busy cutting down trees, trimming trees and bushes
 and general clean up around the church.  We really appreciate your
 efforts!
 
 Also, a big thank you to the Boy Scouts along with the facilities
 committee and the Beadle and Sawyer families, who worked so
 hard on Clean Up Day around the church and at the Crossing!

 2:00 PM FELLOWSHIP GOLF OUTING at Maple Hill!  TODAY IS THE
 LAST DAY to sign up.  Cost is $19.50 per person which will
 include the use of a cart.  Following golf, we will go back to the
 Crossing for dinner.  Please bring a salad or dessert to pass. 
 BBQ, drinks, and paperware provided. 
 
NEXT SUNDAY - MAY 21, 2006
 
NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will continue the series of messages
 “Eastertide:  The Resurrected Lord Brings His Church
 Alive!  Next week “The Kingdom of Jesus:  The Conquering
 Church”.  We will also celebrate the sacrament of infant baptism.
 
THE CHILDREN will end the Sunday School season with a celebration at
 the Crossing during the Sunday School hour.  Children meet in your
 classroom downstairs and you will be brought out to the Crossing for
 games and a cookout!
 
4:45 PM THE SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE WILL MEET.
 
SUNDAYS AT SIX – Join us in the Chapel as Pastor Rick leads in a study
 and discussion on the Book of Esther:  “For Such A Time As

FOOD DONATIONS FOR VBS – This has worked so well in the past and
 really saved on our VBS budget!  On the narthex table is a list of items
 needed for the snack time.  Please look over the list and see where you
 can help.  Donations can be brought to the church kitchen.
