 prayer needs that you would like to share, please see the Pastor or

 an Elder today.  Elders will be greeting at the doors as you leave the

 sanctuary this morning and they are also listed on the back of your

 bulletin.  You may also make a notation on the Fellowship Register.

9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ will meet.  All kids ages 3

 years – 5th grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 


THE CONSISTORY will meet immediately after the service in the

 Chapel for a very brief meeting. Please be on time. Thanks!


ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS meets in the Consistory room

 following the worship service.  They cover scriptural lessons from

 both the old and new testament.  Everyone welcome!


A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.


SUNDAYS AT SIX – Our evening service will be held at Faith

 Reformed Church.  Rev. Harvey Hertz will continue to lead the

 service and share the messages. 



This is the last week for the Crossing afterschool program. 

They will resume in the fall!

NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will share the message “The Genealogies

 of Jesus”.







HEALTH CONCERNS:  Continue to be in prayer for Dan Derogee. 

 He and Martha were expected to return to Michigan Saturday. 

 Ken Wylie will have stent surgery on Friday, May 19.  Please keep

 him in your prayers.  For all other praise reports and prayer

 concerns, see the insert in your bulletin today.





THE CONSISTORY & CONNECTIONS has entered into an

 agreement for Connections to begin holding Sunday afternoon

 services in the Chapel beginning in August. Copies of this agreement

 are on the back table if you are interested in seeing it. Continue to

 keep Pastor George and Connections in your prayers as they move

 forward in this exciting time of growth and reaching out with the

 Good News of Christ. Pastor George will give us an update soon.


OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of May is designated for

 CONNECTIONS.  This offering will be received on May 28.

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank and praise God today for our Mothers, Grandmothers, and other women who hold a special place in our hearts.
  • We think today of our families near and far.  We thank God for the many loving relationships that we have.
  • We thank God for a new season…for new growth and warm sunshine.  For God’s creation of the beauty that surrounds us.
  • We pray for our Discovery Kidz.  We are thankful today for all the teachers and volunteers here at Grace.  We are thankful for their time, energy and talents.  We pray for Heather as she leads them.
  • We pray for Pastor George and Connections. We pray for the youth and adults that attend each week. 
  • Please pray for the Transition team as they begin their work.
  • Keep Dan Derogee in your prayers after his stent surgery.  We are thankful that they are able to return home to Michigan.
  • We lift up Ken Wylie in our prayers as he prepares for surgery on Friday.
  • Remember Tom Cook in your prayers as he seeks the best treatment moving forward.  We pray for peace and understanding.
  • Continue to remember Brent Kerkstra in your prayers.  We pray for healing and a return to complete health and strength.
  • Please keep Jonathan Stouten, nephew of Pastor Rick, in your prayers as he deals with complications of Crohns Disease.
  • Please continue to remember our Grace members and members of their families who are in need of healing, comfort, and strength.  Esther Hoag; Char Otto; Shirley De Bruin; Janet, sister of Wes Dekker; Lana, granddaughter of Ken & Cindy Wylie.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs. Tena DeVink, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mrs. Ruth Ver Merris, Mr. Jim Friar.
