TODAY AT GRACE

 

9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET.  All children ages 3

 years – 5th Grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 

 

EARTHQUAKE IN NEPAL – You will have the opportunity to give

 today to support the relief efforts in Nepal through the RCA Global

 Mission. In the coming days and weeks they plan to assist people

 with supplies, shelter, clean water and sanitation, and other health

 and education programs. 

 

 An INFORMATIONAL MEETING for VACATION BIBLE

 SCHOOL will be held following the service in the Fellowship hall.

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.

 

THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS will meet in the

 Consistory Room following the morning service today.  This class

 covers various subject matter pertaining to our Christian walk. 

 

6:30 PM Y-LIFE will meet at the church in the nursery!

 

PRAYERS & PRAISE

 

HEALTH CONCERNS – Joan Patterson returned to her home on

 Wednesday!  Wilma Kamphuis is doing well following hip surgery

 Wednesday at Blodgett Hospital.  For all other Prayer Requests and

 Praise Reports, see the Prayer Line in your bulletin today.

 

IN APPRECIATION – Thank you to the congregation for all the

 cards, visits, kind words, and love and support shown our family in

 the passing of our mother and Grandmother, Bettee Boeve.

PENTECOST SUNDAY

 

NEXT SUNDAY Rev. Don Van Slyke will lead our service and share

 the message.  WORLD MISSION BANKS will be collected.  Our

 donations will be used to send the gospel to those who have never

 heard through the use of “The Treasure”.  Thank you to all those who

 have been putting their spare change in these banks over the past few

 weeks!

 

5:00 PM - A combined Holiday weekend service will be held at Beverly 

 Reformed Church.

OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of May is designated for

 “ONE SUNDAY OFFERING 2015”.  The One Sunday offerings are

 used to support local church planting efforts.  Our particular

 offerings will be designed for CONNECTIONS.  This offering will

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank God today for the many men and women working in Nepal helping those in need.  We are thankful for the offerings given today to aid in those efforts.
  • We praise God for the abilities given to our Mission Team as they worked at Jackson County Ministries.  We thank God for safe travels and good health.  We continue to pray for the work and ministry at JCM.
  • We pray today for our children worshipping in Discovery Kidz. We are thankful today for all the teachers and volunteers here at Grace.  We are so thankful of their time, energy and talents.
  • Remember Heather Dood in your prayers as she prepares for a very active week of VBS this summer.  We pray for those who are considering volunteering and also the neighborhood children that will receive an invitation.
  • We pray today for Pastor George and his work at Connections.  We pray for those who worship together throughout the week at the Crossing.
  • Please keep Wilma Kamphuis in your prayers following hip surgery. 
  • We thank and praise God that Joan Patterson was able to return to her home. 
  • We remember Mac & Mary Mc Alary in our prayers this week.  We pray that Mary’s pain will subside and she will continue to grow stronger. 
  • Thank you for remembering Wes Dekker’s sister, Janet, in your prayers. She will soon begin radiation.  Please pray that they will be able to restrain any cancer left in her system. 
  • Please remember Marie Mc Donald, friend of Esther Hoag, who has cancer.
  • Continue to keep Lola De Young and her parents, Matt & Lindsey, in your prayers. 
  • We pray today for Jeff and Chelsea Lampen as they prepare to serve in Romania. 
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs. Tena DeVink, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mr. Mac Mc Alary, Mrs. Ruth Ver Merris.
