11:20 AM–12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL – This is the last day for
Sunday School. Classes will resume in the fall.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room.

THE CHILDREN will end the Sunday School season with a celebration at
the Crossing during the Sunday School hour. Children meet in the
Fellowship Hall and you will be brought to the Crossing for games
and a cookout!
VBS MEETING – For all those who wanted to be a part of VBS that missed
the first meeting, please meet today in the Sanctuary following the
morning service. There will also be a special meeting for ALL CREW
LEADERS during this time, even if you were at the 1st meeting.
6:00 PM GRACE GIFTED will be held at the Crossing. Darrell will share
the message in a more contemporary worship experience.
The traditional chapel service will also be held.

NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will share the message during our morning
worship service. No evening services will be held at Grace.
THE ANNUAL CHURCH PICNIC will be held at Pinery Park on June 20!

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY – If you would like to help build the local RCA
sponsored Habitat home, fill in one of the forms on the narthex table.
OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE – Saturday, June 2 from 9 am – 1 pm (or later)
you can help reorganize the Family Network of Wyoming Food Pantry.
Family Network has acquired more space so they need to rearrange
their shelving and supplies. About 10 volunteers are needed to box
and move food and supplies as well as tear down, move and rebuild
shelving units. A group will leave Grace at 8:50 am and drive
together to Family Network, 2575 – 28th Street (just west of Byron
Center). If you cannot come at that time, just come for a couple
hours when you can. Basically you can pick your own hours. There is
a free lunch to anyone who comes to help. Join us for a fun time of
serving in our community. A sign up sheet is in the narthex, or call
Shari at 538-3100.
COOKIES ON THE PLAZA – Beginning next Sunday, cookies/coffee/punch
will be available on the plaza following the morning worship service.
If you would be willing to make cookies for this fellowship time, sign
up on the sheet in the narthex. Shari will call you to make
arrangements. Thank You!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for help with Club 3:16 this summer. Tutors are
needed on Tuesdays for grades 3-8. Volunteers are needed to help
with Club 3:16 lunches the first and third Thursdays of each month
from 12-2 and Club 3:16 FAMILY dinners the second and fourth
Thursday of each month from 6-8. See Nikki with any interest or
CHANGE FOR ALASKA – Remember to drop your coins and dollars in the
Alaska Change jars in the narthex! Instructions are in the narthex.
THE SPECIAL OFFERING FOR MAY is designated for the GRACE
SCHOLARSHIP FUND. This offering will be received on June 3.
VBS DECORATIONS – Please bring any items you may have for the
decoration part of VBS to the classroom in the children’s hallway
marked for VBS or drop off in Darrell’s office. Please do so ASAP so
we know what we have! Thanks.

TRUTH VBS - JUNE 11-15! As we explore Holy Land sites kids will
hear amazing Bible Stories, take Bible challenges, make artifacts, eat
yummy snacks, play fun games, sing awesome songs, and more!

narthex table. This has worked so well in the past and really saves on
our VBS budget! Donations can be brought to the church kitchen.
THE JUNE/JULY/AUGUST GALAXY will soon be published. GRADUATES
please contact Sandy Gort at 667-9763. If you have anything to
share, please turn your articles in by May 29th. Articles may be
placed in the bin attached to the file cabinet in the office.

Praise God for…
• GREAT reports on Nikki’s stepsister, Lori, …no new tumors, old tumors diminished greatly, many of them disappearing entirely!
• The love and kindness show by this church family
• Our children at Grace and in the community
• All those who give of their time at Club 3:16
• The upcoming VBS “Quest for Truth” plans being made
• Neighborhood children and parents to come to VBS and hear the good news
• All those in our Grace family who have recently been hospitalized or undergone surgeries
• The following friends and family members with health concerns:
