TODAY AT GRACE
 
TODAY we celebrate the sacrament of infant baptism as Ethan Edward
 Veldheer, son of Brent and Kristin Veldheer, is baptized.  The flowers
 on the piano are in honor of his baptism.
 
 CHILDREN IN WORSHIP
 Children ages 4 – 2nd grade meet in the Fellowship
 Hall today for Children In Worship.  Children are
 dismissed during the hymn prior to the message.
 
11:30 – 12:10 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL – This is the last week of Sunday
 School for the season.  THE CHILDREN will end the Sunday School
 season with a celebration at the Crossing during the Sunday School
 hour.  Children meet in the choir room downstairs and you will be
 brought out to the Crossing for games and a cookout!
 
HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH please meet in Pastor Rick’s office for
 your class today.
 
SEARCH COMMITTEE MEETING in the room opposite the chapel.
 
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES

OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHIES are extended to the family of Virginia
 Blakeslee who passed away Thursday, May 11 at the age of 88. 
 Services were held on Monday with Pastor Rick officiating.
 
IN APPRECIATION – Thank you to all of you who sent cards and prayers
 our way following the death of Jeff’s father.  They meant a lot to us,
 knowing that we still have a church family who cares about us.

CONGRATULATIONS are extended to David & Nicole Eckhardt (nee
 Rittersdorf) who were married in our sanctuary yesterday with
 Pastor Rick officiating.  May you be blessed with many years of
 happiness together!
 
STUDENT SPOTLIGHT!  Today we want to spotlight Robert Fron.Rob is a student at Hope College and plans to graduate in December of 2006.  He is majoring in Art Education K-12 and will do his student teaching at Pinewood Middle School in Kentwood.  Rob was recently engaged to Ronda Dejong and they have plans to marry on July 14, 2007.  Currently he is working at Lincoln Country Club and is the
advertising and PR leader for the Hope College Summer Arts Camp
for Kids.  Rob also coaches and plays for the Grand Rapids Thunder, 
a semi-pro football team.  You can send notes of encouragement to
