HEALTH CONCERNS – Anna Borkowski is home following surgery

 on Thursday. Mary Huizen underwent hip replacement surgery on

 Friday at Blodgett hospital. Keep Tymie Boeve in your prayers as she

 prepares for upcoming surgery. See the Prayer and Praise Line

 for all prayer requests and praise reports.


IN APPRECIATION – Thank you for the wonderful prayers for my

 daughter-in-law Linda. She finished chemo and radiation and

 received a report that everything was all clear. They will continue

 to monitor her. We are so thankful! ~Ann Hoezee

 This is the last week for regular Club 3:16. Exciting new events are being planned for the summer months.



NEXT SUNDAY Rev. Scott Crane will lead our morning worship

 service and share the message. Discovery Kidz will not meet next

 Sunday, or on any holiday Sunday morning this summer. Kids…you

 may attend worship with your parents! Also, there will not be an

 evening service next Sunday at Grace.



DISCOVERY KIDZ are in need of one person for games on June 26

 and July 10. If you can help both of those dates or just one,

 please see Heather or sign up in the narthex!

Pentecost Sunday – June 12, 2011


Pentecost..the coming of the Holy Spirit, the birth of the New Testament church,

and the commissioning of Christ followers to boldly testify to our Lord’s resurrection and make disciples of all people.


The church today – almost 2000 years later –

continues to be the hope of the world. 


Our special offering for the month of June is designated for “One Sunday”. Our evening service

on June 12 will be a special combined service with our sister churches in Wyoming

with that offering designated for “One Sunday” as well!


More information on “One Sunday” to come! 



Monday, June 13 – 16 6:00 – 8:00 pm


A Bible Time experience for kids ages 4 years – 5th Grade. Visit the

shops in the marketplace, dance and sing, see live animals and much more. 

On Thursday a dinner will be provided for the family. 


Please turn in your Registration Forms ASAP!

SPACE IS LIMITED! Extra forms are on the narthex table.



 Sunday, June 5 at 9:30 am – A brief training session for

 Jewish Mothers. 

 Sunday, June 12 at 9:30 am – A brief training session for the 

 Marketplace Workers.


 Jewish Mothers- We need at least one more Jewish Mother and

 Helper. This has been modified from last year to make it run

 smoother for you and a little easier. You will lead the children

 around to the areas they are suppose to be at, share customs that

 went on in their homes and review Drama with them (all info

 Buddy: Looking for one more person to be with one of Grace’s

 kids. They will be responsible for this one child the whole time

 leading them to each area.



 DRIED FRUIT – Must be in package with ingredients listed. Types

 of fruit: raisins, blueberries, cherries, cranberries, mango’s etc. 

 Please drop off in kitchen by June 5. If you have questions, see



 CANOPY TENTS – A couple tents are still needed for the

 Marketplace. Please drop off to church before June 10. Please write

 your name on tent so we know who to return it to.

Church Plant Prayer Focus

Pray for Pastor George as he continues to make

contacts with individuals and families.


Congregational Prayers and Praise

Please call the office if you would like to

share a Prayer Request or a Praise Report.


  • Keep Anna Borkowski and Mary Huizen in your prayers as they recover from surgeries.
  • Remember Pastor George and the volunteers at Club in your prayers as they reach out and build relationships with the neighborhood children and their parents.
  • Please be in prayer for plans for the upcoming VBS. Pray that we will have enough volunteers and the children will come. Pray for Heather as she works on all the last minute details. 
  • Juel Grevenstuk’s father was injured in a car accident and hospitalized this past week. Please keep him in your prayers as he recovers.
  • We remember in prayer the following family or friends of our members that are ill or receiving treatments: Tyler Huisman, nephew of Wes & Linda Lowing; Amee Bekkering, daughter of Dick & Ruth Locke, who just underwent reconstructive surgery; Marvin Witvliet, brother of Arlene Dekker, who is beginning chemo for esophageal cancer; Larry VerMerris, son of Ruth Vermerris diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
  • Keep these friends and family serving in the military in your prayers: Amie Pierce, Doug Desmarais, Frank Senko, Dave
  • Vander Berg.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs Tena DeVink, Mrs Miriam Schrotenboer, Mrs Anne Hoezee, Mrs Janet Yonkers.


As other prayers are shared, you are invited to write

them down and include them in your prayers for our congregation this week. Please keep the church informed

 of your prayer needs and praise reports!
