 prayer needs that you would like to share, please see the Pastor or

We joyously welcome you to Grace Reformed Church!

Whatever led you to our church today, we believe God rejoices in having

you in this place.  Please take a moment and sign your name and

address on the Fellowship Register as it is passed today.

 

TODAY AT GRACE

TODAY we welcome Rev. Don Van Slyke to our worship service. 

 Pastor Don is serving as Pastor of Congregation Care and

 Community Outreach at Hudsonville Reformed Church.  Prior to this

 roll he served as Senior Pastor for 18 years.  Thank you, Pastor Don,

 for being with us this Lord’s Day!

 

DISCOVERY KIDZ will NOT meet today.  Children are invited to sit

 with their parents in the sanctuary! 

 

WORLD MISSION BANKS will be collected today.  Our donations

 will be used to send the gospel to those who have never heard

 through the use of “The Treasure”.  Thank you to all those who

 have been putting their spare change in these banks over the past few

 weeks!  (We will still take banks in next Sunday.)

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.

 

THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS will meet in the

 Consistory Room following the morning service today.  This class

 covers various subject matter pertaining to our Christian walk. 

 

5:00 PM - A combined Holiday weekend service will be held at Beverly 

 Reformed Church (2141 Porter, Wyoming).  Note the 5:00 pm start

 time!  This will take the place of our service at Grace.

 

PRAYERS & PRAISE

HEALTH CONCERNS - Wilma Kamphuis was transferred to Tender

 Care for rehab following hip surgery.  She is doing well.  For all other

 Prayer Requests and Praise Reports, see the Prayer Line in your  

 bulletin today.

 

IN APPRECIATION – Thank you to my Grace family for all the

 prayers, visits, cards, and kind words.  Wonderful!  I really

 appreciate it! ~Joan Patterson

 

CONGRATULATIONS are extended to Harvey and Sheryl Steensma

 who celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary May 21, 2015.

May God continue to bless you with many

more years of happiness together.

NEXT WEEK, MAY 31, 2015

 

NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will continue with the “Read the Bible in

 a Year” study.  OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of May

 is designated for “ONE SUNDAY OFFERING 2015”.  The One Sunday

 offerings are used to support local church planting efforts.  Our

 particular offerings will be designed for CONNECTIONS.  This

 offering will be received next Sunday. 

 

Y-LIFE – The last meeting until fall will be next Sunday right after the

 service.  You will be heading over to Ms. Heathers (pending the

 weather!)

 

5:00 PM – We will join together at Unity Reformed Church for a special

 Pentecost Service.

Prayers & Praise Line

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank and praise God today for the freedom we enjoy in this country and the men and women who fought for that freedom.
  • We praise God for the beauty of the season.  For new life and warm sunshine.
  • We pray today for World Mission.  We think and pray for the people that will receive the Treasure, a solar powered Bible.  We thank those who have given their change for this great ministry.
  • We pray for our youth as they finish up another year of school.  We thank God for teachers and places to learn. 
  • We pray for safety for those who are traveling this weekend. 
  • Remember Heather Dood in your prayers as she prepares for a very active week of VBS this summer.  We pray for those who are considering volunteering and also the neighborhood children that will receive an invitation.
  • We pray today for Pastor George and his work at Connections.  We pray for those who worship together at the Crossing.
  • Please keep Wilma Kamphuis in your prayers following hip surgery. 
  • We remember Mac & Mary Mc Alary in our prayers this week.  We pray that Mary’s pain will subside and she will continue to grow stronger. 
  • Thank you for remembering Wes Dekker’s sister, Janet, in your prayers. She will soon begin radiation.  Please pray that they will be able to restrain any cancer left in her system. 
  • Please remember Marie Mc Donald, friend of Esther Hoag, who has cancer.
  • Continue to keep Lola De Young and her parents, Matt & Lindsey, in your prayers. 
  • We pray today for Jeff and Chelsea Lampen as they prepare to serve in Romania. 
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs. Tena DeVink, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mr. Mac Mc Alary, Mrs. Ruth Ver Merris.
