 TODAY AT GRACE

TODAY PASTOR RICK will begin a new series of messages “Catching
God’s Wind”, a study of the Holy Spirit for Pentecost. See the
insert in the bulletin for all the details.

OUR MINISTRY OF MUSIC this morning is presented by Lexie Wagoner of
our congregation. Thank you Lexie for sharing with us today.

CHILDREN & WORSHIP
Children ages 3 & 4 years meet in Fellowship Hall with
Worship Leaders Lisa and Samantha Johnson.
Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room with
Worship Leader Darrell Delaney and Lynda Ver Merris.

COOKIES & PUNCH/COFFEE will be available on the patio following our
morning worship service throughout the summer. If you would be
willing to make cookies for this fellowship time, please sign up on the
sheet in the narthex.

THERE WILL NOT BE AN EVENING SERVICE at Grace today.

Thank you everyone who has been bringing their POP CANS to
church! The youth groups are greatly benefiting from your
generosity! Thanks also to Bill Tacoma who gathers them up and
returns them to the store…it is REALLY appreciated!

OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHIES are extended to Tom & Pat Slager and Rick
& Laura Marshall and families upon the death of their brother and
uncle, Willard Slager, on Friday, May 18 at the age of 74.
May our God be near you and comfort you with His Spirit.

 MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

SO SORRY! Our workday at Family Network of Wyoming on June 2 has
to be postponed for now. They have been informed that the space
they are to move into is NOT available until a later date. So, for now
we are waiting to see when that may be. We will try to set a work
date in the future, if not on a Saturday, maybe in the middle of the
week. Thank you to those who already signed up. We will be in
touch.

THE JUNE/JULY/AUGUST GALAXY will soon be published. GRADUATES
please contact Sandy Gort at 667-9763. If you have anything to
share, please turn your articles in by May 29th. Articles may be
placed in the bin attached to the file cabinet in the office.

THE SPECIAL OFFERING FOR MAY is designated for the GRACE
SCHOLARSHIP FUND. This offering will be received next Sunday,
June 3.

NOW IS THE TIME TO PRE-REGISTER YOUR CHILDREN FOR VBS!
Please pick up a registration form from the table in the narthex for
each child and any friends you may want to invite. Return your
completed form in the box on the narthex table. Thank you!

VBS DECORATIONS – Please bring any items you may have for the
decoration part of VBS to the classroom in the children’s hallway
marked for VBS or drop off in Darrell’s office. Some
items needed are: painter’s canvas, Styrofoam, poster boards,
shovels, crates, milk crates, plastic pool, pottery, baskets, treasure
chests, lawn chairs, thick rope, blankets….On the narthex table is a
picture of the look we will be attempting to copy! Please do so ASAP
so we know what we have! Thanks.

FOOD ITEMS for VBS SNACKS can be brought to the church kitchen
anytime. Thank you for all the donations! A few items are still
needed. Check the list on the narthex table. Questions…see or call
Tymie Boeve (531-5700).

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for help with Club 3:16 this summer. Tutors are
needed on Tuesdays for grades 3-8. Volunteers are needed to help
with Club 3:16 lunches the first and third Thursdays of each month
from 12-2 and Club 3:16 FAMILY dinners the second and fourth
Thursday of each month from 6-8. See Nikki with any interest or
questions. THANKS!

CHANGE FOR ALASKA – Remember to drop your coins and dollars in the
Alaska Change jars in the narthex! Instructions are in the narthex.

• This day of Pentecost and the gift of the Holy Spirit
• 29 kids giving their lives to Christ at Club 3:16
• Our Club 3:16 Volunteers
• Our Sunday School Teachers ~ Thank you for serving this past year!
• Our Veterans and those now serving in the military
• The freedom we have in this country to worship

• The upcoming VBS “Quest for Truth” plans being made
• Neighborhood children and parents to come to VBS and hear the good news
