our hope and prayer that as each of our graduates begins a new phase
in their lives they do so not only with increased knowledge of worldly
things, but with a sound foundation of faith in Jesus Christ.

Profiles of our 2009 High School and College Graduates
are printed in the Galaxy which will be distributed today.

THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of May is designated for the
GRACE SCHOLARSHIP FUND. This fund has been established to
provide encouragement and financial assistance to High School
graduates who are going on to college. Our support and prayers,
from their church family, helps them as they seek self improvement
opportunities enabling God to work His will in their respective lives.
The applicants for this scholarship must be either a baptized or
communicant member of Grace Reformed Church. This special
offering will be received today.

MINISTRY OF MUSIC – We thank Robin Zondervan of our congregation
for providing special music for us this Lord’s Day!

All Children will meet together through the summer
months in the Fellowship Hall. Worship Leaders this week
are Judy Beadle and Kerri Baker.

VBS MEETING!! There will be a meeting right after church today for all
volunteers, especially CREW LEADERS. You will be given all the
materials you will need! See Shari if you have any questions.

 4:30 PM PRAYER GROUP meets in Pastor Rick’s office. We invite
 YOU to join us. You do not have to pray out loud. Just come!


NEXT SUNDAY Rev. Scott Crane will be with us and share message at
both our morning and evening worship service. Pastor Rick will be
attending General Synod in Holland.


HEALTH CONCERNS – Al Grimm is expected to have returned back
home following hospitalization earlier this week. Roger
Vander Sloot will undergo knee replacement surgery at Blodgett
Hospital on Tuesday, June 2nd. Christy Kleymeer’s surgery went
well and she is now home. See Prayers & Praise Line for all prayer
requests and praise reports.

IN APPRECIATION – Thank you to Pastor Rick, and thank you to the
Grace Congregation for the many cards, prayers, and other acts
of kindness shown to me following my recent surgery. ~Geri Ruis


COOKIES & COFFEE/PUNCH will be served on the patio following the
morning service! If you would be willing to make cookies for this
fellowship time, please sign up in the narthex.

SYNOD meeting at Hope College in Holland. See the insert in the
bulletin today for a schedule.

MISSION/OUTREACH TEAM will meet on Tuesday, June 23 at 7:00 pm.

CHURCH PICNIC – Mark your calendars and save the date for the Church
Picnic on June 17 at Pinery Park. Dinner will be served at
6:00 pm. See the insert in your bulletin today for all the details and
reserve your spot.

PRE-REGISTER YOUR CHILDREN FOR VBS! Forms are available on the
narthex table. Return your completed forms to the box on the table.

FOOD DONATIONS – There is a list on the narthex table with food items
that are needed for snack time at VBS. Please take a look and see if
you can donate anything to the cause. This really helps cut down on

know about your prayer needs and praise reports.

 possibility of a new church start.
