ELDERS INVITATION - If you have questions, concerns, joys, or
prayer needs that you would like to share, an Elder will be available
in the front of the sanctuary following the service this morning.

 TODAY AT GRACE

TODAY WE WELCOME Dr. Marv VanderVliet, Youth Guidance Director for
Youth for Christ, as he leads our service and shares the message. We
thank our GEMS and their leaders for their part in our service today.
The Special Offering for the month of April is designated for the
GEMS ORGANIZATION. This offering will be received this morning.
Pastor Rick and Donna are attending Christy’s graduation from Hope
College today.

CHILDREN & WORSHIP
Children ages 3 & 4 meet in Fellowship Hall with
Worship Leaders Erika Wigent and Danielle Vining.
Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room with
Worship Leaders Lynda Ver Merris & Pat Ter Beek.

11:20 AM–12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL – There are classes available for
all ages three years old and upward. A nursery is available for those
children under the age of three.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room. Join
them for lively discussions relating to our Christian walk.
“Faith in the Cinema” – Today, May 11 and May 18 we will view
“Leap of Faith” staring Steve Martin and Debra Winger. This is set in
Kansas in the 1990’s and deals with the nature of the faith of a
traveling evangelist and his troupe. There are some wonderful
surprises in this story.
“Daniel – Spiritual Living in a Secular World” – Meet in Kia’s office.

6:00 PM MUSIC APPRECIATION SERVICE – All our music groups will
participate! The choir of Faith Reformed Church will also be a part
of the program. The men and women from the Veterans Home will
be our special guests. Invite a friend to worship with you tonight.

 PRAYERS & PRAISE

CONGRATULATIONS are extended to Jayme & Heather Dood upon the
birth of a daughter, Riley Lynn, born on Tuesday, April 29th!
We praise God for this gift of life and pray for
God’s blessings on your family.

CONGRATULATIONS are also extended to Keri Boeve and Doug
Desmarais who were united in marriage yesterday, May 3, in our
sanctuary with Pastor Rick officiating.
May God bless you with many years of happiness together!

 NEXT SUNDAY – MAY 11, 2008

NEXT SUNDAY is Pentecost Sunday. Remember to wear something RED!
Pastor Rick will begin a new series of messages “When God Comes to
Church”. ¬Next week the message is “We Come Alive”.

SUNDAYS AT SIX - Pastor Rick will continue the study entitled “From the
Old to the New to You” where we discover Christ in the Old
Testament and in our lives as well.

THE “CULTIVATING MISSIONAL VITALITY” SEMINAR featuring Reggie
McNeal will be held Monday, May 5 from 1:15 – 8:30 pm at
Remembrance Reformed Church. Pastor Rick and some of the
Consistory members will be attending. If you are interested, please
talk to Pastor Rick TODAY. This will take the place of the May
Consistory meeting.

FOOD DONATIONS NEEDED for VBS – This year as in years past we are
asking for donations for the VBS snack. On the narthex table is a list
of items needed. Sign up if you can help out with a donation!

GRACE GARAGE SALE MAY 16 – 17 TO BENEFIT RICK & LAURA
MARSHALL’S ADOPTION EFFORTS. Donations gratefully accepted!
Please set aside any items you no longer need for this fundraiser.
You can drop off your items at church in the marked classrooms in
the Discovery Kids hallway downstairs. Call Rick or Laura at 364-
3122 if you have any questions.

COOKING UP A CURE – A cookbook fundraiser for the Breast Cancer 3
Day. A collection of 150 family favorite recipes with a few surprises
added in. Cost is $15.00 per cookbook and if you place your order by
Monday, May 5 you will have your book by Mother’s Day. Contact
