TODAY AT GRACE

 

9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET. All children ages 3

 years – 5th Grade meet downstairs by the youth desk. 

 

ELDERS INVITATION If you have questions, concerns, joys, or

 prayer needs that you would like to share, please see the Pastor or

 an Elder today. Elders will be greeting at the doors as you leave the

 sanctuary this morning and they are also listed on the back of your

 bulletin. You may also make a notation on the Fellowship Register.

 

A VBS MEETING will be held following the morning service. Anyone

 willing to volunteer their time is asked to come to this meeting. All

 areas will be explained and you will have the opportunity to sign up! 

 See the insert in your bulletin today! The music played before the

 service today will give you a little idea of our Go Fish “PRAISE”

 VBS!

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the CHAPEL

 to pray for Pastor George and the new church start. All are welcome.

 

THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL GUIDE CLASS will meet in

 the Consistory Room following the morning service today.

6:00 PM MUSIC APPRECIATION SERVICE. Join us for this

 special night with all the music groups at Grace. The Choir from

 Faith Reformed Church will be participating as well! The men

 & women from the Veterans Facility will be our special guests. 

 Coffee/Punch and cookies will be served in the Fellowship Hall

 following the service!

 

6:45 – 8:00 PM Y-LIFE – for Middle and High school youth. Meet at

 the Crossing.

 

PRAYERS & PRAISE

 

HEALTH CONCERNS – Deb Kleymeer is home after undergoing

 knee surgery on Monday. Please keep Deb in your prayers as she

 begins rehab. MaryLynn Huizen was hospitalized overnight for

 testing this week after having chest pains last Sunday. She is home

 now and doing well. For all other prayer requests and praise reports,

MOTHER’S DAY

 

NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will continue with “THE STORY”. The

 message “THE KINGDOMS’ FALL” will be shared. Please read

 Chaper 17 in preparation. There will not be a 6:00 pm evening

 service on Mother’s Day.

 

MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

A SPECIAL CONSISTORY MEETING will be held on Monday,

 May 21 at 7:00 pm.

 

THE GALAXY will soon be published! The June/July/August Galaxy

 will be out June 3rd. If you have an article to share, please give to Pat

 Ter Beek or Sandy Gort by May 27th, or place it in the bin attached to

 the file cabinet in the main office.

 

CLOTHING DRIVE for Second Chance Clothing, a ministry of Trinity

 Reformed Church on Leonard, NW - now through May 27.

 As you clean out your closets, please bring good used clothing and

 small household items to the boxes at church. Second Chance is

 supported and operated primarily by volunteers and stocked

 completely by donations. This store provides high quality clothing at

 low cost and the funds that are collected are reinvested into the city's

 NW neighborhood through various ministries, projects,

 organizations, and programs.

Church Plant Prayer Focus

 

Please pray for wisdom as we seek to grow the Crossing Community beyond the Club 3:16 families.

 

Congregational Prayers and Praise

share a Prayer Request or a Praise Report.

 

  • We thank and praise God today for the gift of music! We are thankful for Paul Kerkstra, our minister of music; for Shari Dood who assists him, and all the men & women who give of their time and talents sharing their gift of music.
  • We pray today for our Grace kids…for the worship taking place downstairs. We pray for Heather Dood as she leads our children. We thank God for Heather and her love and dedication to our kids.
  • We pray for the work and ministry of Daniel Jung with the Club kids and the Connections families. We thank and praise God for the faithful volunteers who help out each with Club 3:16 and the Connections family dinners.
  • Remember Pastor George as he heals and regains his strength.
  • Pray today for Deb Kleymeer as she begins rehabilitation following knee surgery. 
  • We pray that volunteers will come forward to help with VBS and for the children that will attend.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs Tena DeVink, Mrs Miriam Schrotenboer, Mrs. Anne Hoezee, Mrs. Ruth Ver Merris, Mrs. Janet Yonkers
