 prayer needs that you would like to share, please see the Pastor or

 an Elder today.  Elders will be greeting at the doors as you leave the

 sanctuary this morning and they are also listed on the back of your

 bulletin.  You may also make a notation on the Fellowship Register.

TODAY AT GRACE

 

9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ will meet.  All kids ages 3

 years – 5th grade meet downstairs by the youth desk.  Today we

 welcome them to our service.  They will lead our praise singing and

 share about what they have been doing during this last rotation.

 

TODAY THE TRANSITION TEAM will hold their first meeting in

 the Chapel after the service. We would like to hold them up before

 God so we will pray over them today. Will you please commit to

 keeping them in your personal prayers in the upcoming days? Thank

 You!

 

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS meets in the Consistory room

 following the worship service.  They cover scriptural lessons from

 both the old and new testament.  Everyone welcome!

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.

 

SUNDAYS AT SIX – Beginning TONIGHT our evening service will be

 held at Faith Reformed Church.  Rev. Harvey Hertz will continue to

 lead the service and share the messages. 

 

6:45 – 8:00 PM Y-LIFE will meet.

PRAYERS AND PRAISE

 

HEALTH CONCERNS:  Please be in prayer for Dan Derogee.  Dan

 underwent triple bi-pass surgery in Tampa this past week.  This has

 delayed their return to Michigan.  For all other praise reports and

 prayer concerns, see the insert in your bulletin today.

 

CONGRATULATIONS to Bob and Lynda Ver Merris upon their

 upcoming 50th Wedding Anniversary!  YOU ARE INVITED to an

 Open House in their honor on Saturday, May 20, 2:00 – 4:00 pm at

 the Crossing.

 

MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

THE CONSISTORY & CONNECTIONS has entered into an

 agreement for Connections to begin holding Sunday afternoon

 services in the Chapel beginning in August. Copies of this agreement

 are on the back table if you are interested in seeing it. Continue to

 keep Pastor George and Connections in your prayers as they move

 forward in this exciting time of growth and reaching out with the

 Good News of Christ. Pastor George will give us an update soon.

 

OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of May is designated for

 CONNECTIONS.  This offering will be received on May 28.

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • Please pray for the Transition team as they begin their work.
  • We pray today for our children in Discovery Kidz.  May they all come to know and love Jesus.  We pray for Heather as well as all the volunteers who give of their time each week. 
  • We thank God for the ministry of Connections.  We pray for Pastor George as he leads them each week.  We thank God for the lives that are touched by this ministry.
  • We pray for those who have recently lost loved ones.
  • We thank and praise God that Lillian Vander Veen is doing better and is able to start getting around more. 
  • Remember Tom Cook in your prayers as he seeks the best treatment moving forward.  We pray for peace and understanding.
  • Continue to remember Brent Kerkstra in your prayers.  We pray for healing and a return to complete health and strength.
  • Please keep Jonathan Stouten, nephew of Pastor Rick, in your prayers.  He is hospitalized again at Blodgett Hospital with complications of Crohns Disease.
  • Please continue to remember our Grace members and members of their families who are in need of healing, comfort, and strength.  Esther Hoag; Char Otto; Shirley De Bruin; Janet, sister of Wes Dekker; Lana, granddaughter of Ken & Cindy Wylie.
