 years – 5th grade meet downstairs by the youth desk.

 

THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS will meet in the

 Consistory room following the morning service.  All are welcome. 

 

A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.

GREATER CONSISTORY – Help is needed occasionally on Sunday

 mornings to usher and collect.  Would you be willing to take a month,

 or even just one Sunday?  If you would be willing to help out, or to be

 put on a call list, please see or call Dan Stuk (532-7729) or call the

 office (538-3100).  Thank you!

 

COINS FOR KIDS – Our SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of

 May is designated for Coins for Kids, Grand Rapids Right to Life. 

 Extra baby bottles are available in the narthex for you to collect coins. 

 Profits benefit Grand Rapids Right to Life and local pregnancy

 agencies that provide material support to women and families facing

 unplanned pregnancies.  Small change can make a BIG difference!  In

 the month of May you can work to fill up your bottles.  We will collect

 them on May 29, or you can turn them into the office prior to that.

Prayers & Praise Line

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank and praise God today for our Mothers, Grandmothers, and other women who hold a special place in our hearts.
  • We think today of our families near and far.  We thank God for the many loving relationships that we have.
  • We thank God for a new season…for new growth and warm sunshine.  For God’s creation of the beauty that surrounds us.
  • We pray for our Discovery Kidz.  We are thankful today for all the teachers and volunteers here at Grace.  We are thankful for their time, energy and talents.  We pray for Heather as she leads them.
  • We pray for Pastor George and Connections. We pray for the youth and adults that attend each week. 
  • We pray today for Bob Tofferi. May God’s peace and love surround them.
  • Please pray for Pastor Rick’s mother who has been in the hospital this past week with pneumonia.
  • Please remember in your prayers those who have recently lost loved ones.  In particular today we pray for Anna Borkowski and Esther and Orville Hoag who this week lost friends that were very special to them.
  • Please be in prayer for Joshua Sawyer who has joined the Navy and is now at the Great Lakes Naval Station.  He is doing well.
  • Please continue to be in prayer for Shirley De Bruin as she undergoes chemotherapy.
  • We pray for Sally Herrema as her leg heals up and she undergoes therapy. 
  • We continue to keep Tymie Boeve in our prayers.  We pray for understanding, encouragement, continued healing and strength.
  • Continue to remember Karen Ver Hulst in your prayers.
  • Please keep Brent Kerkstra, son of Paul, in your prayers.  Prayers for a complete return to health and wellness.
  • Please continue to be in prayer for Lola De Young and her parents Matt & Lindsey. 
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs. Tena DeVink, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mrs. Ruth Ver Merris, Mr. Jim Friar.
