We rejoice in having each of you here for worship today.  Your
presence lifts our spirits.  Remembering the love which God has
for us, we extend our hand in love to one another.  Please sign
your name and address on the Fellowship Register as it 
 is passed so we can get to know you better!
 
 TODAY AT GRACE
 
TODAY we will celebrate Youth Sunday during our morning service.  We
 thank Darrell Delaney, our Director of Youth and Children’s
 Ministries; Kia Delaney, Ray & Robin Zondervan, Luke Nordlund,
 Nikki Probst, and all our youth leaders and students for their
 contributions to our service this morning.
 
 CHILDREN & WORSHIP
 Children ages 3 & 4 years meet in Room 1 in the Discovery
 Kids hallway with Worship Leaders Lisa Braendle & Hennie
 Rosema.  Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room
 with Worship Leaders Jennifer Moody and Samantha  
 Johnson.  You will be dismissed during the offering time. 
 
11:20 AM–12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL - There are classes
 available for all ages three years old and upward.  A nursery is
 available for those children under the age of three. 
 ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
 Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room.  Join
 them for lively discussions relating to our Christian walk.
 Spiritual Warfare in the Old Testament – Brad Class will lead this  
 group in the Chapel. 
 You Were Shaped For Serving God – Meet at the Crossing.
 
SUNDAY’S AT SIX - Join us in the CHAPEL for the evening worship
 service.  A time of discussion will follow the message.
 
6:00 – 8:00 PM YOUTH - GRACE GIFTED!  We at Grace want to allow our
 young people to display their gifts.  If you like to sing, dance, play an
 instrument, write poetry or have other talents, we invite you to the
 Crossing tonight for Grace Gifted!  This is an opportunity to share
 your gifts and for us to celebrate each other.  There will be fun and
 giveaways.  If you have questions, see Darrell.

 study of the Spirit Fruit as found in Galatians 5:22-23. This
 series of Bible Studies will meet in the CONSISTORY ROOM.

HEALTH CONCERNS – Char Otto is home following outpatient surgery
 on Friday, November 10.  Ron Lankheet will undergo outpatient
 surgery on his shoulder on Friday, November 17.  See the Prayers &
 Praise Line today for all the Prayer Requests and Praise Reports.
 
CONGRATULATIONS are extended to Kristen Emelander and Nathan
 Thompson who were united in marriage in our sanctuary on
 Saturday, November 11th with Pastor Rick officiating. 
 May God bless you with many years of happiness together!

LISTED BELOW ARE THE PERSONS who will make up the slate for the
 upcoming ELECTIONS FOR THE OFFICE OF ELDER AND DEACON. 
 Three persons will be elected to serve as Elder and three as Deacon. 
 Each will serve a three year term.  Ron Engels and Lorie Norden have
 agreed to serve an additional year on Consistory in order that we can
 work toward a goal of making even the number of persons elected
 each year.

A CONGREGATIONAL MEETING will be held following the morning service
 Sunday, November 26.  Election of Elders & Deacons will be held,
 the proposed 2007 budget will be presented and other church
 business will be discussed.  There will not be Sunday School on this
 day, however, activities will be held for the children during this time.
 Teachers can plan on attending the Congregational meeting.
 
 NEXT SUNDAY – NOVEMBER 19, 2006
 
NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will continue with the series Core Values for
 Church and Life with the message “The Standard of Security ~ I
 am Called to Pass on my Faith.”
 
SUNDAYS AT SIX – Pastor Rick will share the message “The Holy City on
 Edge:  Place of Peace?”  from the series Where Sin and Sacred Meet. 
 Discussion will follow the message.

 MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS
 
NEEDED FOR THE CHILDRENS SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS:  On November
 19 we need 3 male fishermen and someone to play Jesus in
 a short unrehearsed skit.  Sign up on the sheet in the narthex if
 you can help.  Questions??  See Jennifer Moody.
 
ALASKA CHALLENGE – Please be in prayer as we proceed with plans for
 fundraising for those who have expressed interest in becoming part
 of the Alaska Challenge, July 21-31, 2007.  Also pray for those who
 are still not sure if God is calling them to participate.  If you have any
 questions, contact Shari Dood or Ray & Robin Zondervan.
 
D & W FUND RAISING DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN! D & W will donate 5% of
 our group’s total sales back to our Youth Groups.  All you need is our
 code 95688.  Local participating D & W’s are the Grandville, Breton
 Village, Caledonia, Rockford & Cascade stores.  The date for this
 promotion is NOVEMBER 12-18.  Just jot down our code and shop! 
 
TODAY WE REJOICE with Pastor Dave Jansen and CenterPoint Church
 because their classis has agreed to purchase land for their church to
 build on in the future.  However, before Classis can finalize this
 purchase of land, CenterPoint has the responsibility of getting all the
 required site plans completed.  Our Thanksgiving Offering and
 our November Special Offering is designated to help
 CenterPoint fund these plans. 
 
WREATH SALES – Our youth group will once again be selling Christmas
 Wreaths and Evergreen Crosses.  Order forms are available on the
 narthex table.  Wreaths will be delivered Sunday, November 26th
 
THE HOLIDAYS ARE FAST APPROACHING!  Once again we are providing
 opportunities for you to help those in need!
 Participate by buying gifts for the 2nd Annual Wyoming
 Christmas Store.  This store is set up for low income families of  
 the neighborhood.  Parents are able to purchase gifts for their
 children at ¼ the cost.  Our Christmas tree is set up and there
 are 125 tags on it that need to be filled.  Check your  mailbox for
 all the details and pick up a couple tags from the tree!
 
 Help by purchasing gifts for the “Being the Hands” program
 that we are setting up at DeVos Children’s Hospital!  We are in
 need of gifts for older youth and adults…we will use the left
 over gifts from the Christmas store for the younger children. 
 Gifts of any amount are appreciated.  Again, the details are in
 your mailbox.
 
 Provide a Holiday Basket for a family at Thanksgiving or
 Christmas.  Sign up in the narthex if you are interested.  Please  
 respond by early November for a Thanksgiving basket and early
 December for a Christmas basket.
