 prayer needs that you would like to share, please see the Pastor or

 an Elder today.  Elders will be greeting at the doors as you leave the

 sanctuary this morning and they are also listed on the back of your

 bulletin.  You may also make a notation on the Fellowship Register.

TODAY Pastor Rick will begin a new series of messages.  See the

9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ for kids ages 3 years – 5th

 grade meets downstairs by the youth desk. 



 Consistory Room after the morning service. They cover various

 matters using the Sunday School Guide.  You are welcome to join in!


PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.


SUNDAYS AT SIX - For our evening service we will be meeting  

 at Faith Reformed Church.  Pastor Rick will share the message:

 “Itchy Ears:  I, II, III John”.








 3:15 – 5:45 or 8:00 PM THE CROSSING for Grades 3 - 6.


 6:00 PM FELLOWSHIP DINNER –  Pizza is on the menu!

 Come out and enjoy dinner and a time of fellowship prior to classes!


 6:45 – 8:00 PM

 GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior) for girls in

 grades K – 8th.  Meet in the Choir Room.

 VICTORS – For boys in grades K – 8th

 BE BIG – For Preschool children.  Meet in the Nursery!



 6:15 PM  WOMEN’S MINISTRY will be heading to see “Joseph

 and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at Cornerstone. 

 The show starts at 7:00 pm.  If you would like to carpool and

 ride in the van, meet at Grace at 6:15 pm.




NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will share the message: “The Gift of God’s

 Good Word”. 


SUNDAYS AT SIX - For our evening service we will be meeting  

 at Faith Reformed Church.  Pastor Rick will share the message

 “Stay Centered:  Hebrews”.

DRIVER NEEDED:  Bill VerHulst could use a driver or two to bring

 him to his dialysis on Fridays. It would be a 7:00 am pickup and you

 would return him back home around noon. If anyone could also help

 on Wednesdays that would also be appreciated. If you can help out,

Thursday, November 23, 10:00 am THANKSGIVING DAY

 SERVICE here at Grace. 


Sunday, November 26 – A CONGREGATIONAL MEETING will be

 held following the morning worship service.  A slate with Elder &

 Deacon Nominees will be presented for approval.  The budget for

 2018 will be presented and other church business will be discussed.

 During the Congregational meeting all children/youth are invited to

 help Ms. Heather Decorate for Christmas in the DK area. Other

 activities are planned as well.


Tuesday, November 28, 1:00 pm THE ELIZABETH CIRCLE will

 meet to discuss Lesson 8, Amos 3 in our study book.  All women



Sunday, December 10, 10:00 AM – The children will present their

 Christmas program “A Tree Lot Christmas”.  (Children may

 wear regular casual clothes- Our setting is at a tree farm.)


Thursday, December 14, 7:00 pm WOMEN'S MINISTRY is holding

 "CUP OF CHRISTMAS" event in the Fellowship Hall.  You may

 sign up to either just attend the evening with us or  decorate a table

 for Christmas and invite your own guests (each table will hold 6

 people comfortably but can do 8 if you would like).  We are asking

 everyone to bring a dozen cookies if you wish to participate in the

 cookie exchange that night. Sign up in the Narthex or email

  Heather. If you have additional questions please see Pat Ter Beek or

 Heather Dood.


Sunday, December 17, 10:00 am – The Senior Choir will present their

 Christmas Cantata “Sing and Shout for Joy”.


Monday, December 18 - ELDERS AND CONSISTORY will meet.




THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of November and also

 Thanksgiving is designated for the Grace Building Fund Tree

 Removal and Trimming expense. 


The WYOMING CHRISTMAS STORE will be held here at Grace on

 Saturday, December 2.  This store is set up for low income families of

 the neighborhood.  Parents are able to purchase gifts for their

 children at ¼ the cost.  Take a tag from the Christmas tree on the

 library area.  Look for more information placed in your mailbox. 


Help also by purchasing gifts for the “BEING THE HANDS”

program that we are once again setting up at DeVos Children’s Hospital on Tuesday, December 5.  We are in need of gifts for older youth and adults.  Gifts of any amount are appreciated.  Gifts can be brought to the library area by the Christmas tree.  A box will be marked for these gifts.


THE SEARCH TEAM has met a couple of times.  We would like to

 thank the Transition Team for all the ground building they did to

 help prepare the search team.  Our church profile has been submitted

 to the RCA.  Please continue to pray for this process, as we know the

 Holy Spirit is with us and God’s plan will unfold.

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We pray as we work through the process of electing Elders and Deacons to serve on the Consistory.
  • Please pray for the Holy Spirit’s presence and guidance as Pastor Rick and Donna and all of us go through these days of transition. 
  • We pray for Heather as she prepares for her final exams and becomes a Commissioned Pastor. 
  • Please pray for Pastor George and Connections and for the youth and adults that attend each week.  We pray for them as they continue to grow and expand.
  • Please pray for the Search Team as they go about their work.  May the Holy Spirit guide their path. 
  • Remember Fred Hiemstra in your prayers following surgery.  We pray for quick and complete healing.
