Prayers & Praise Line

November 18, 2012

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We are thankful today for our many blessings. We thank God for the gift of health, for able bodies and clear minds.
  • We give thanks for our families, warm homes, and food on our tables.
  • Please keep Dean Simons, step-father of Jenny Hendges, in your prayers as he is now under hospice care.
  • We remember in prayer the following family or friends of our members that are ill or receiving treatments: Lola De Young, Curt Boes, Dan De Vries, Brian Benthin.
  • Continue to keep these friends and family serving in the military in your prayers: Amie Pierce, Adam Simons and Justin Roelofs.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs Tena DeVink, Mrs. Jane Duthler, Mrs Miriam Schrotenboer, Mrs Anne Hoezee, Mrs Ruth Ver Merris, Mr Ralph Bolt.

Church Plant Prayer Focus

We are especially thankful today for the weeks of work provided by dedicated Grace volunteers that stripped wallpaper, painted walls, scrubbed bathrooms,

sanded and sealed wood floors, and installed tile. Those folks made this week’s move possible. Pastor George and Juel are able to host a variety of small

groups and Bible studies in their home as they gain a presence in the community and relationships with the neighbors.

Answered prayers include another new family that joined us for Thursday nights brought by a family who attended for the first time a week ago.

Connections is grateful for this special offering for the month of November. As the “daughter” of Grace, we cherish this relationship and appreciate

your support corporately and individually, through prayers and offerings. Your congregational support enables this new ministry to reach out to the

neighborhood and feed the spirits and the bodies that live in our community. Your offerings to Connections, apart from your tithe to Grace, carry forward

your vision for a new church plant to reach the unchurched. Please consider being a Connected Connections’ partner with a gift of $20 per week

for 20 weeks. Your gift is tax deductible.
