TODAY we will celebrate as Lyndsey Boeve (1455 Plas SW, Wyoming)
makes Confession of her Faith in Jesus Christ as her personal Savior.

CHILDREN & WORSHIP
Children ages 3 & 4 years meet in Room 1 in the Discovery
Kids hallway with Worship Leaders Lisa Braendle & Hennie
Rosema. Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room
with Worship Leaders Jennifer Moody and Samantha
Johnson. You will be dismissed during the offering time.

11:20 AM–12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL - There are classes
available for all ages three years old and upward. A nursery is
available for those children under the age of three.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room. Join
them for lively discussions relating to our Christian walk.
Spiritual Warfare in the Old Testament – Brad Class will lead this
group in the Chapel.
You Were Shaped For Serving God – Meet at the Crossing.

SUNDAY’S AT SIX - Join us in the CHAPEL for the evening worship
service. A time of discussion will follow the message.

6:30 PM INDEED HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH – Hope College Gathering. Meet

The Special Offering for Thanksgiving is designated for
CenterPoint Church Site Plans for their new church.

 PRAYERS & PRAISE

HEALTH CONCERNS –Ron Lankheet underwent outpatient surgery
on Friday, November 17. Gordon Ver Merris is now at Brookcrest
Nursing Home. Tymie Boeve will undergo surgery Monday
at Butterworth Hospital. She is expected to be hospitalized through
Thursday. Dan Stuk will undergo back surgery Tuesday at
St. Mary’s Hospital. See the Prayers & Praise Line today for all the
Prayer Requests and Praise Reports.

LISTED BELOW ARE THE PERSONS who will make up the slate for the
upcoming ELECTIONS FOR THE OFFICE OF ELDER AND DEACON.
Three persons will be elected to serve as Elder and three as Deacon.
Each will serve a three year term. Ron Engels and Lorie Norden have
agreed to serve an additional year on Consistory in order that we can
work toward a goal of making even the number of persons elected
each year.

ABSENTEE BALLOTS – If you will not be able to attend the Congregational
Meeting on November 26, Absentee Ballots are available on the
counter in the office. Signed ballots can be given to the clerk, Keith
Baker, or placed in his box in the office. All ballots must be signed
and handed in prior to the Congregational Meeting.

A CONGREGATIONAL MEETING will be held following the morning service
Sunday, November 26. Election of Elders & Deacons will be held,
the proposed 2007 budget will be presented and other church
business will be discussed. There will not be Sunday School on this
day, however, activities will be held for the children during this time.
Teachers can plan on attending the Congregational meeting.

 NEXT SUNDAY – NOVEMBER 26, 2006

NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will continue with the series Core Values for
Church and Life with the message “The Standard of Sacredness ~ I
am Connected to the Living God.”

SUNDAYS AT SIX – Pastor Rick will share the message “Bethlehem:
David’s Royal City” from the series Where Sin and Sacred Meet.
Discussion will follow the message.

MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

MISSION OPPORTUNITY – Grace will take part in another hurricane relief
work trip next spring! We will be going to McComb, Mississippi on
April 21-28, 2007! Reformed Church World Service is partnering
with Southwest Mississippi Recovery Network to send work groups
to help in construction repairs to damaged homes and cleanup.
Check your last Galaxy for more details, or, ask Shari. A sign up is in
the narthex. Please prayerfully consider this opportunity to serve.

COOKIES FOR A.T. WALK-A-THON – Keith and Ann VanZoeren’s two
granddaughters have both been diagnosed with A.T. The older one is
almost ready for a wheelchair. If you wish to give this month, put a
donation in the cookie jar. Enjoy the cookies!

SENIOR CHOIR CHRISTMAS CANTATA – Would you like a reading part or a
non speaking part in the drama December 17 during the morning
service? Contact Lynda Ver Merris 878-3191.

WREATH SALES – TODAY IS THE DEADLINE TO ORDER YOUR WREATHS.
Order forms are available on the narthex table. Wreaths will be
delivered Sunday, November 26th.

ALASKA CHALLENGE – Please be in prayer as we proceed with plans for
fundraising for those who have expressed interest in becoming part
of the Alaska Challenge, July 21-31, 2007. Also pray for those who
are still not sure if God is calling them to participate. If you have any
questions, contact Shari Dood or Ray & Robin Zondervan.

TODAY WE REJOICE with Pastor Dave Jansen and CenterPoint Church
because their classis has agreed to purchase land for their church to
build on in the future. However, before Classis can finalize this
purchase of land, CenterPoint has the responsibility of getting all the
required site plans completed. Our Thanksgiving Offering and
our November Special Offering is designated to help
CenterPoint fund these plans.

CHRISTMAS IS FAST APPROACHING! Once again we are providing
opportunities for you to help those in need!
 Participate by buying gifts for the 2nd Annual Wyoming
Christmas Store. You can help by purchasing a gift for one or
more of the children listed on the tags found on the Christmas
tree in the library. All the details are in a letter you received in
your mailbox. (Extras are on the table in the narthex) All
these tags must be filled so pick up your tags today. Bring in
your gifts by December 3.

VOLUNTEERS are needed to work at the Christmas
store on December 9 (and set up on Wednesday,
December 6). A list of various opportunities and
times is on the table in the narthex.

 Help by purchasing gifts for the “Being the Hands” program
that we are setting up at DeVos Children’s Hospital! We are in
need of gifts for older youth and adults…we will use the left
over gifts from the Christmas store for the younger children.
Gifts of any amount are appreciated.

 Provide a Holiday Basket for a family at Christmas. Sign up in the narthex if you are interested. Please respond by Dec. 10th.
